Wow!!!!!! they injected an ilonggo lyrics... I am so proud to be an Ilongo because of these TNT Boys... Mabuhay ang TNT Boys!!!! “Ili-ili tulog anay… wala diri imong nanay” is a very popular lullaby to make babies sleep in the "ilonggo" speaking region of the Philippines. ilonggo language is spoken by the people of Panay island and Negros Occidental in the Western Visayas part of the Philippines. “ili-ili” is a word use to describe when you hold a baby inside your arms, very close to your chest, and at the same time gently swinging your arm left to right… “tulog anay” means “just sleep for a while” “wala diri” means “not here” or “not around” “imong nanay” means “your mother”.. So, “ili-ili tulog anay … wala diri imong nanay” means “just sleep for a while… your mother is not around”..
Advert Remix it's very nice description/interpretation.. i think they added this beautiful lullaby to give more meaning and color to the song "ili-ili tulog anay" (sleep well and dream high)
The harmony is always a killer. The signature of the TNT Boys. According to one vocal coach, the kind of harmony they showed here is advanced harmony. They leveled up. It's not just a basic harmony.
Hi SoFie! I am so happy with your reaction here! I love how you commented at each boy's strengths, how you appreciated Mackie's deeper voice, how you knew Keifer was the one. who did the high note and how you predicted Francis will hit a big note. You know them so well and you genuinely love the three of them! Also I am so touched that you knew it was a lullaby that you felt it was part of tradition because. you are correct on both points. I feel like you really connected with the song and the. performance of the boys here. Please continue making TNT Boys reactions. I am. sure that if they watch you they will be so happy and they will feel your love for them. 💙💙💙
Hi,Sophie, nice to see you're back.I'm a full blooded Filipino and the reason why I don't fail to watch your reactions of them is that it shows your genuine concern and affection. You love them the way we Filipinos do.I never shed a tear for any singer in my life, but when Francis wept silently after that TWB loss, tears just flowed from my eyes. These kind of talents don't deserve to be eliminated.
Hey Sophie, its a Hiligaynon (one of the regional languages in the Philippines) folksong used to send babies to sleep. It means “Hush baby go to sleep, Mother is not yet here...”. Well theyre supposed to sing this but they were advised to sing Flashlight.
This is the song that they supposed to sing on TWB according to Mackie on his IG. but TWB asked them to change it to Flashlight instead with so many cuts.
TWB is scared the boys may win the title so they made the change. And that is the reason why they look not their usual self when performing coz they know something is going on.
They were supposed to sing this at TWB but switched it to flashlight. I think the producers of TWB ask them to change the song. That is why when they were singing at the final round of TWB they look so sad. There is a leaked video of the boys singing this song during rehearsal for TWB.
It's a lullabye ( folklore) and its a dialect in the Phils ( Ilonggo, Hiligaynon) btw this is the song they rehearsed for championship but they were ask to change to Flashlight, that's why they were sad...(harmonies, Keifer as high notes, Francis melody and Mackie, low)
Their harmonies blended so well😍and the lullaby was injected perfectly. I got goosebumps uuuu so beautiful. I love them smiling at each other. That show how resilience they are. Kiefer high notes, Francis vibratos and Mackie runs aaa so on point. Most of all like you said they looked so fresh and handsome teens. TNT Boys Good Job!!!❤❤❤ All especially Kief😊
You are right Sofie... it’s a classic ballad lullabye .. my mom used to sing this to me when I was a baby. Especially when babies cry... they would hold the baby close, tenderly swing them to and fro and sing” ili ili Tulog anay, wala diri imong Nanay.... “ just sleep my darling baby... You mommy is not here yet ... Ili ili is an endearment ... There’s a continuation of that song that they did not include , it goes like this.... Ili ili, Tulog anay, wala diri imo Nanay ( sleep My dearest baby, mommy is not here yet’( what’s in the their song) Next verse ( not in their song).. Adto sa Ronda, ( Mom went to the store..) Nag bakal tinapay ( to buy bread...) Ili ili tulog anay ( so just sleep for a little while...) It is so fitting that they would incorporate that lullabye Ilonggo song to this song. It even brought nostalgic beautiful memories to me and made me miss my mom , whose mom they also sang to her.,,Made me tearful... Love those TNT Boys and their music arranger. He is a genius! Thank you Sir!
You're right,Sophie. It's Filipino native lullaby song. Amazing and beautiful renditon of it. This one is making me very emotional. Boys, you killed it. Harmonies are always on point. The runs, belting, high notes, adlibs, riffs and soulfulness, they slayed it. The new voice of Mackie is getting stronger and powerful. Keep dreaming BIG, boys. Thank you for supporting them.- Mackie's Team A/Mackie's Team PH🇵🇭
Hi Sofie!! Thank you for always supporting an loving our TNT Boys.. Its really nice watching reactors who knew them individually and as a group.. Love that you pointed the highlights of each one of them.. We all are dissapointed about the TWB, but after watching this cover, I was comforted already by them and realized that TWB is just their stepping stone.. They dont need the title from the show because people around the world will be the one to give them the title these kids deserve.. Thank you also for appreciating the new voice of Mackie! I agree with you that his low notes added spice to their harmonies.. I super loving his new voice now.. And his techniques are getting more beautiful and exciting to hear.. 😊 Till your next video of the TNT boys.. More powers to you and your channel! Love you TNT Boys! Love you bebe mayor! 💙Mackie's Team PH 🇵🇭 💙
Another epic reaction Sofie, I love it. Keep up the good work will always support you. Really the greatest song of 2018 for the greatest showman and those boys nail it hard.

The Worlds Best is making The TNT Boys fans mad every way they can--I was so waiting for them to hit the judges with some of their harmonies that are unbeatable - this song would have been PERFECT-no matter what they are my champions
Hello, Sofie! Many thanks for the love! It is a lullaby in Ilonggo, one of the vernaculars here in the Philippines. It means "little one go to sleep, your mother is not here". They added just a snippet of the lullaby. It is beautiful! I love the TNT Boys! They have always been the world's best for me even before they joined that show. 😊
Harmonies in all it's splendor! Coming from the best kids trio on earth! Thanks for always being there..treasure this moment all life long..much love and respect from MACKIE'S TEAM A- MACKIE'S TEAM PH🇵🇭
Love ur reaction. Love u more since u love our boys as much as we do❤ Love ur keen observations about Mackie's changing voice as well as Keifer and Francis. 😍❤💞💕🎵🎶💋
a million claps to froilan canlas the TNT boys vocal coach and vocal arranger. the TNT team injected that hiligaynon lullaby to show the vocal dynamics of TNT boys on that angelic crescendo
I cried too , but I know God will bless them more so keep supporting them and pray for more success! I will be in California , LA to support their concert so excited to be there soon!
francis and keifer both sung the high notes. while mackie took the lower register. and yes, the song they injected was a lullaby.. it's a song for a mother.
Hi Sofie .. i knowyou'll get emotional when you see this video. They recorded it just last Sunday... for their fans..... so sweet of them! They included in this song an Ilonggo ( dialect in Iloilo) lullaby.... so beautifully sang by the kids!!!.Thanks Sophie for truelly loving Keifer Mackie and Francis. A well respected kids after TWB ... we didnt know what happened to them in that show until it was shown... so sad and heartbreaking .. they hid it well. God bless. Hope you react to their world tour this coming April.
Soar & fly high #TNTBoys!🕊️🔥🎇 The world will never cease to adore & support these amazing vocal dynamo trio from the Philippines!🌏💖🎤🎼🎶💪🇵🇭🎇 Keep safe & stay blessed SoFie!🙏
carole mason if you have 3 minutes to spare, listen to this rendition of Iliili by a Texan choir of kids. This piece is actually known internationally and used for choir competitions. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ZvRX-xcSjuA.html
I was hyped and excited to see their championship round flashlight, it was noticeable mackie was looking down and his runs was also missing.. keifer whistle missing. With limited time for performance if you re arranged the song there is no reason to remove the most beautiful part especially for a competition. And i cried when francis rubbed his eyes. I kept watching their tnt version for flashlight because atleast they were all smiles. Then million dreams was uploaded and I was Oh their smiles are back and they are all high spirited!
It is a great track from the movie The Greatest Showman and really these kids are the The Greatest Showmen because these kids didn't get through, but still they have a happy and pleasant smile as if nothing happened.
Thank you sofie for your reaction for tnt boys... the harmonies is so tight and beautiful I can't get enough I want to listen over and over again... just close your eyes I can hear a 3 little angels singing.. love the arrangements of the song. Yes your correct it's a lullaby and it's so beautiful to listen the arranger of the song are genuies.. love your reaction sofie much love and respect from _MACKIES TEAM A 🎩✋_
It is a lullaby!! Good job guessing that! It's in Ilonggo, one of the many dialects here in the Philippines. 😉 If you follow the ethnologue, then we would have 185 dialects. But we have 8 major ones. They're Bikol, Cebuano, Hiligaynon (or Ilonggo which was the one incorporated to their cover), Ilocano, Kapampangan, Pangasinan, Tagalog, and Waray. Hehe. Just a little know-how coz I've noticed that people from other countries only know about Tagalog. 😜
Thank you for your reaction video😊 Their voice sounds like an angel, i really love that Harmony,,the low notes of mackie was so lovely ❤❤❤ the runs and falsetto was so great CONGRATULATIONS TNTBOYS for your another achievement- MACKIE'S TEAM A~ TEAM PH🇵🇭🇵
Thanks for reacting. Their harmonies is a killer. OMG they have grown up and getting better and better. I so love them. Mackie's Team A Mackie's Team PH
Love your reaction and comments. A Millions Dreams is another epic performance by the TNT Boys. Their voices are maturing along with boys themselves. Loved it.
That addition is indeed a lullaby :) They were supposed to sing that song but TWB made them change it to Flashlight... I guess that explained their sad faces during the performance.
I've watched a lot of non-Filipinos react to this performance of the TNT Boys and it's so ironic that almost all of you loved the bridge part of the song. It's a Filipino lullaby sung in Ilonggo (one of the many dialects/languages in the Philippines. Tagalog isn't the only dialect we, Filipinos, speak. Like me, I speak Cebuano. Ilonggo is different as well ☺). The lullaby "Ili ili tulog anay, wala diri imong nanay" means, "Sleep little one, your mother isn't here." It's a very sweet lullaby to listen to. ☺
Yes! They sing this amazingly beautiful & did justice to the song. We all know that the World Best Show just used these talented kids to gain more followers & viewers ‘coz they knew all along that these kids captured people hearts 🥰 & we’re continuously support them all the way through. I don’t know if this is really true that the TNT Boys supposed to sing this song but unfortunately the productions changed it to Flashlight. It’s obvious though about Mackie & Francis faces full of disappointment ‘coz they might knew what will happen next. Actually, they made a twist in this song by adding Visayan lullaby one of our provinces dialect. Still, they’re the super best & most talented kids singers in the whole wide world! 🌎 God bless them.🙏❤️🙏
Thank you miss sofie for a wonderful reactions that you gave to our amazing talented tnt boys. I know you love the kids so much. My heart 💔 and i'm 😭 for them, when they eliminated in twb. Thank you for the love and support you gave to tnt boys. More power to your channel And god bless.❤️❤️❤️🇵🇭
It’s true. They’re going back to LA on another US tour with Brian McKnight. They and their managers planned it out during their stay for The World’s Best. m.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-285wzxL7Jes.html
I think you were the only reactor I've seen, Filipino or not, to nail it on the head when you said it sounds like a lullaby. Very observant and I'm a fan of your reactions, especially with the TNT Boys! You sound like proud family member :)
Hi sofie did u know that this song supposedly their song for championship round song but blatantly change by the twb program director and sing the flashlight and to cut some parts
Rumours says this was the original song plan for the finals of W. B. They were told to sing flashlight by W. B. . The song was even axed. W B . is like a big joke.
I have listen to this song from the beginning for two days straight now and it is not getting any better. Every time I listen my brain finally picks up a new and wonderful sound that it didn't on past runs. There are companion harmonies which I or my brain didn't catch on the first listen, there are even times where all three are actually singing different words but remain in harmony, The harmonies in the Philippine lullaby are so intense and intertwined that brain couldn't catch up to what I was seeing during the second time they sang it that I totally missed that Keifer and Francis were not singing the wordy but giving two part harmony in the background. This song as short as it is, is so intense and so complicated, that listening to it only once does it an injustice. In my opinion it is not just a song or a comeback it is art at its finest, which I hope that the people who do the song of the year give it, its due. I don't believe that I have heard finer music and I do not believe that I have finished picking up all the subtleties in it and for some reason I don't think that I ever will. Note::: to SoFieReacts: The tears and speechlessness have increased with every new discovery. If it is possible it is just too beautiful. The brain is not capable to hear it all in one go.
First I would like to thank you for that good reaction. For the love and support to these kids. The middle part of the song that you love was really a lullaby its a Hilagaynon, one of the 176 dialects of my country Philippines. That is a lullaby of a mother to her baby. And this is a beautiful lullaby. What makes it very amazing they incorporate it in the song a million dreams which makes the song outstanding in addition to that they made a perfect rendition. I hope tou keep supporting them and reacting to their videos. Kudos Sofie....
You're right it's a lullaby an ilonggo dialect from Panay Island western visayas Philippines. It means sleep little one, your mother is not here. Love your wonderful reaction, thank you Sofie...
This is the original song that they suppose to sing in the last round of the worlds best but was changed the last minute that's why the boys looked so sad while performing flashlight.
"What note was that?" B5 actually! Angelic!!😍 I was so mad when that shill show, TWB pulled the f^^king rug out from under them at the very end. *THIS* was supposed to be the song they were going to do to take them over the top. I don't know if you saw it or not, but Dimash bailed out on the finals because he saw what was going on, and he wanted some younger talent to actually win the show. *MUCH* respect to Dimash for stepping down at a critical time. The judges and the producers were stunned that he would give it all up for the kids, because HE was destined to win. After that, the producers started getting downright vicious, and essentially told the TNT Boys that they were going to do 'Flashlight' and not 'A Million Dreams', which they had been practicing tirelessly for the finale. Then they chopped it up and didn't even let Kiefer do the whistle notes, etc., and basically made a mess of it. I completely understood their frustration at the end, knowing how they usually do the song. If this dumpster fire of a show makes it to a second season, you can bet I won't watch or support one lousy minute of it. I hope their ratings tank because of the obvious shillery going on in the background.😡 Thank you so much Sofie for continuing to keep us updated on the newest and the best, despite RU-vids efforts to snub *ALL* reaction channels with copyright Bulls**t. I LOVE your reactions!!💖💖👍👍 Keep up the good fight there gal!😉
Thanks for reacting Sophie. This is for me the best version ever. TNT boys' rendition with a twist, a touch of their own. I really love this. Mackie's Team A; Mackie's Team PH; Mackie's Team Global.
you've guessed it right ma'am.. "Ili-ili tulog anay" is really a lullaby of the Ilonggo tribe of the Philippines. Wow. They sang like puberty doesn't hit them at all.! Amazing! By the way, nice reaction SoFie!
If you think that TWB Flashlight was emotional, you should've seen them singing Flashlight during their concert last November. They were almost bawling while singing the song. At times, Keifer had to stop singing coz he was crying so hard. Francis, too. Mackie was trying not to look at the other two because he knew he would break down crying if he did. But through the tears, they were able to finish the song, with Keifer even nailing the whistle.
Love it and you got everything right. It is a Lullaby but not in Tagalog but one of the other islands language. Yes The World's Best quickly became the World's worse Once TNT Boys and then Dimash left the show, and I refuse to even look at a review from them. But because of their control issues from CBS, the TNT Boys may well be the winners here, because they are still free to sing whatever they wish and how to sing it.
A lullaby song using ILONGGO (one of the Philippine dialects). This is THE SONG they supposed to sing and NOT FLASHLIGHT. You are very genuine and sincere from your reaction
