0:54 I'm so glad you appreciated this - it's simple wordplay, but the dominant/Dominic gag shows an understanding of the subculture and combines it with a Freudian slip...it's superbly written.
Great reaction. My dad was a bit like that - I remember having to explain things to him about his two best friends (two old guys who lived together their whole lives!). I think you'd probably love some Micky Flanagan - try "To catch a Peeper", he's absolutely hilarious!
If it’s any help help we pronounce his name En-field Enfield, yes he has a a huge amount of work, he has a series called “Harry Enfield and Chums” it’s well worth a look at. P.S loving your channel. 👍
I've heard of Harry Enfield, but this is the first I've actually seen of his material. I loved it. This definitely encourages me to check out the rest of the show.
The I.T. Crowd, Red Dwarf, Sean Locke, Jimmy Carr, Paul Smith at the comedy club Al Murray, Father Ted, the list of Brit comedy is vast. Dip your toe in, give your chuckle muscles a good workout. I promise you won't regret it and grow to love it. From Liverpool UK
If you are looking for British comedy to react to I would recommend: Batman and Robin, Only Fools and Horses. I Hear You're A R****t Now Father, Father Ted Guess Who Died, Peter Kay You Went Dogging?, Peter Kay Sean Lock Has No Time For Child Actors, Big Fat Quiz of the Year. Johnny Vegas Has Everyone Crying Laughing & Completely Ruins the Show, The Last Leg. Everyone Literally Crying Laughing Over Joe Wilkinsons Insane Poem, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown Carrot in a Box, 8 out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Apologies if you've seen any of these. All are some of my favorite bits. All the best.
I found Doctor Who & British Comedy about 9 or 10 years back now... and apart from the Doctor Who over the past 6 years or so - they've gotten me through quite a lot.
Who is harry ienfield? This skit reminds me of my dad. The first time he met the gay keyboard player in my band he just went to pieces. You have to make allowances for the older folk because it's all new and unusual to them.
Some of Harry Enfield’s greatest skits involve portraying Americans so be sure to check out Bob’s cars or American Tourists in London..glad to see that you’re now appreciating British comedy as we’re the only race of people that can rip the piss out of others whilst making ourselves look like idiots all at the same time.😂
This sketch is longer, and continues with them in the Pub, with more clumsy Gaffs, when the boys go to the Toilet. By the way, It's EN--FIELD not Hine -field, Enjoy.
it was show.. here in Finland about that period of time when I was a about teenager.. And it takes almost 20 years find that serie again..but thanks youtube wonderland i find it foundit? I t is perfect serie highly remmondet wackos like me but good wackos..😆
Check out Micky Flanagan. Jimmy Carr , Frankie Boyle audience roasting (brutal). Would i lie to you especially if Bob Mortimer is on the panel. 8 out of 10 cats (hosted by Jimmy Carr).
you need to watch The slobs win the lottery, it's with Harry and Kathy Burke. You should also watch a series called Gimmie Gimmie Gimmie and then try to say that English humours not funny. Still, glad you're getting it now. They are all on you tube.
Its HARRY ENFIELD ! NOT EINFELD... nonetheless try harry enfield and friends, ali g, hale and pace . For slapstic try russ abbot or les dawson. The latter will have u crying if you watch the candle joke!
Ok I could only think of Ricky Gervais last night 🌙 but we have loads of comedians better than Harry Enfield ! Please try Lee Mack, jasper carrot, Frank skinner, frankie Boyle, russel brand, and especially... butvwoth word of caution... Stewart Lee who is utterly amazing but an acquired taste/ understanding... like you might have to watch a couple ofhisvfull length specials to get him... bit like mich hedberg😢😅
Sorry not to see your gorgeous darling wife reacting on this one. Other Harry N-field sketches well worth a watch include Gay Nazis (Nuremberg rally), embarrassing chemist clips compilation, American tourists go for breakfast, and possibly the funniest of them all, Arsenal('33) Vs Liverpool('91)
I'm so tired of the made up word "homophobic". If you step in a pile of dog crap is it phobic to get upset? If you rub up against a sweaty fat person is it phobic to get offended? If a crowd of people only cheers for one football team is it phobic towards the other teams? If a person wants to protect their culture is that phobic? If a person is proud of something and doesn't want anyone to come along and f*** it up is that phobic? No. So, when I see two gay people acting gay it's not homophobic to react to it. When the gays and trans get more rights than the rest of us that's an attack on normal culture. A normal response to getting attacked is to defend. Defending your culture is not homophobic. Anyone that disagrees with that statement is a con-artist.
“More rights than the rest of us” or “small protections to make up for systematic disadvantage and protections from abuse straight people don’t face?” Or “Is a problem really real if it’s not a problem I face?” Do better.
