Thank you for posting this. I cried watching! Sadly, I doubt most of the young skaters today even know who Kurt Browning is and his contribution to the sport.

Kurt Browning and Scott Hamilton look like they could be brothers. I have mistaken them both since the beginning. Such a talent these skaters have. I mean I have always wondered how they could skate the way they do and not get super dizzy.

I did not know Kurt Browning was retiring, that makes this already beautiful piece all that much more poignant. Sadly, without the televising of skating like the have in the past, I only recognize a couple of skaters that were on the ice. Kurt is an amazing skater, and he will be missed from the sport.

I don't suppose it will ever happen, but my big dream is that for one TELEVISED performance all living skaters like Peggy Fleming, Dorothy Hamill, Torvill & Dean, Brian Boitano, Brian Orser, Paul Wylie, Dick Button, and so many others, would skate at least one piece, and then a grand finale with everyone on ice together like in this Kurt Browning video! Have those skaters who can no longer skate be seated around the rink so they can be honored as well. Just a fantasy, I know.
