​@madhavraghu The game controls much better on the Switch than I was expecting. I think touch-controls on mobile may be a *bit* annoying with a large handsize and overlapping cards

@@tzera_rhuon nah mobile spire plays perfectly fine with a large had size. phones are huge now. if you actually think selecting a card would be difficult you havent thought about it more than a couple seconds. simply add a tap and slide feature that lets you "scroll" through your hand and select the one you stop at.

you are right, but multiplication being commutative has nothing to do with what you're saying. Also he wanted to play with high initial mult so that multiplications start off good.

@@Qyubij It means that a high chip count and a high mult count are identical. People tend to value high mults in this game because its harder to raise the mult, but because of the fact that multiplication is commutative you should focus on raising your chips to complement your high mult possibilities in runs such as the first one. People don't care if you have 100 chip count with 4 mult but go crazy if you have 4 chip count with 100 mult (NL literally played a pair of 2s this video, confident his mult would carry him) because they forget the commutative property - both hands are 400 points. I'm curious as to why you think my comment on the commutative property had nothing to do with the commutative property.

@Qyubij You want to try and balance them BECAUSE of the commutative property. People value mult more than chips - besides the name they do exactly the same thing because multiplication is commutative. You haven't explained why it doesn't apply, you've only asserted that it doesn't in a comment chain I created to point out that it does. It's a very simple property, you can use it to explain phenomena just as much as you can use it while doing algebra to change numbers around. I can only assume you think it doesn't apply because you've only used it as utility in a mathematical context, but it's still a concept that applies to the real world.

@greenoftreeblackofblue6625 it's true! It'll still take up a joker slot like if you have 5 it'll be 5/5 jokers but they won't have their multipliers lowered. I noticed it when I had two on a run and they didn't lower when I got a copy

That's not the issue. Keeping 1 vs discarding 1 doesn't change pair odds assuming uniform distribution of the remaining cards. The issue is he can easily see which pairs are most likely by checking the deck but he doesn't and just dumps everything
