"To Hell & Back" 4-29-12 at First Baptist Church of Clinton, Inc.

Our text is taken from Jonah 2:1-2 where it says - 1Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish's belly, 2 And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heardest my voice.
So dreadful was Jonah's experience, he identified it in the text as "the belly of hell". Jonah's experience in the belly of the fish cured him of his rebellion. Sometimes God uses our circumstances to move us from contemplation to action.
