To My Sister Short Film 

This short film explores the complex relationships between womanhood, identity, and the powerful emotive power of Persian poetry. My experimental short film delves into the depths of femininity against the backdrop of Iran.
This piece has been adapted from a poem by a Persian feminist poet, Forough Farrokhzad. In her poetry she presents feelings of love, empowerment and isolation as a woman in Iran.
