An example of the dynamic soundtrack system with To Rat-tle!. All credit goes to Richard Beddow, Ian Livingstone, Richard Wells, Simon Ravn, Tilman Sillescu, Tim Wynn, and all other musicians involved in creating this epic soundtrack.
I really love how the Skaven OST catches their nature so well, they are self-deluding cowards who find fleeting strength in mad megalomania and petty cruelty, the courage of the mob fueled by the lash of a tyrant, they fight like the cornered rats they are, showing a vile callousness and unfettered cunning which is equally disgusting and mezmerizing.
I also like their in-game models, their endless twitching and jittering and how they talk... Always torn between their cowardly nature and their cruel, hateful and jealous nature. To fight or to flee? To stab the one ahead of you or to wait for now? To grab the loot or to dodge the lash of the taskmaster? Their constant state of two-fold panic and agitation is what makes them so interesting - they always in motion, even if thats a futile motion of a deeply twisted and insane (by human standards) mind.
I honestly feel like CA had an especially fun time making the Skaven, because asides from the DLCs and all that, this works as a perfect buildup to "Vermintide".
@Lenzo Van Laeken some say he just caught rabies... But those dont live long enough to spread that further. And they can alwesy check for themself if Queek has foam in his mouth or no - when he eats their eyes for breakfast.
