I personally start my conditioning from a pup start with having my pup around I as much as I can showing him or her lots of love by the time it reach about 6 months he/she basically wants to do what ever i call up on it to do and as it grows getting it in shape to how u want it will be that much easier yes there game bred dogs but ain’t all of them will got that drive or determination to work so I got to build there mind to work or do what ever u call up on them to do the heart is there but it also goes hand in hand With the mind so my work out starts from a pup so getting that dog in shape will be very easy especially in combat u can truly see that work u been putting in shows up on all manner

Id start hand walking as young as you want. To start real work like where you break him down with work. Wait untill he is full grown some dogs are grown at 18 months some 24 -28 months. Breed age You CAN breed a bitch as young as 6 or 8 mo old. SHOULD You ? No not at all. But you CAN do t . But if you Wait till her 3rd heat, you will be better off and she will too.
Ive been a craftsman 25 yrs. Im not sure just a avg guy could build one. And by time you got the Tools needed you would have 40,000$ in a mill. Buy one thats my advice It cost you just as much in parts to build one. I got a lot a wheels and nuts and bolts at a time and have the tools and skill set to do it. Unless you are already exp in Fab type work theres a big chance you will fuk up the first 2 or 3 anyways. Then it will cost MORE than a brand new Winmill slat mill.
I dont build mills anymore for public sorry. Check out the Gamblers mills. If I was in the market Id look into his mills. He is older too been at this a long time. Good dude and good dogman.
@@niallsimpson6062 I've looked at them but I'd imagine shipping is expensive since it's coming from another country. I bought the Evo Dog Trotter slat mill.
You are correct , You do not know much about this.. that dog is at Peak condition. a dog can only maintain that type of conditioning for several hours!! He is worked to that point, and then recoverd after a show. Think of a body builder! He does not walk around at the wt he is on stage!
