To the Bass Rock with the Marr family - Fred, Chris and Pat 

The Marrs were a family that for 14 generations lived in the harbour at North Berwick, near Edinburgh. Fred was Harbour master for much of the 20th century. He and his adult children, Chris and Pat, ran trips, on their boat, Sula II, to the Bass Rock, the nesting area for thousands of gannets.
