WOW! Can you believe it guys? It's been 15 years since this masterpiece first showed up in theatres. I remember the day very well, I was turning 10 years old that year, so I was 2 years behind lewis. I was very hyped for that movie, and I was talking to a barber who was cutting my hair a few days before I was about to go see it. I won't lie to you all, this movie changed my life, sincerely it changed everything about my perception of the world. I strived at a young age to be just like lewis, an inventor. I literally have an invention notebook just like he does. And although it's mostly just rip offs of what I've seen in the shows and movies I've watched (wall-e, phineas and ferb, jimmy neutron) it still made me feel very special about my childhood. And although I never made it at being an inventor(sadly I'm not very good at math or engineering), I'm gladly making my way through art school to be a mecha concept artist to use my fascination of inventions and technology to make wonderful art. I want to thank you all for making this journey possible, and for those of you who've stuck around to my channel, thank you! I never knew a single video of mine would reach a million views, but here we are, coming together to experience a favorite moment in the movie together. You all are incredible, again thank you all for watching, and most importantly... KEEP MOVING FORWARD!!!
Same for me, I have a degree in computer science, and I'm learning more about arduino and raspberry pi online, along with soldering, 3d modeling, and electrical engineering so I can invent and go to business.
Just realized that they simply travelled 30 years into the future. I thought it was a couple of thousand years and Future!Lewis just discovered the cure to aging.
In the MEET THE ROBINSONS Wii game (which is supposed to take place before the movie), we learn that Wilbur uses the time machines behind his parents' backs all the time. Granted, the time machine he used was the second working time machine, but one could argue that the mechanisms in the prototype time machine are very similar to the ones in the second time machine.
@@mattybrunolucaszeneresalas9072 I know the red one is the first one. At the very beginning of the Wii game, we see him use the blue one to visit ancient Egypt. The blue one gets stolen later on, so he starts using the red one.
Since we’re now in 2024, let me take the opportunity to tell you that this year technically marks Wilbur Robinson‘s birth year. The films future is set in 2037, and Wilbur mentions he’s 13 years old by that time. So, happy birthday Wilbur Robinson.
The future has arrived, but every "future" is replaced with the memory scanner malfunctioning scene, each time increases the speed by 5% and more bass boosted. Also when they show the woman in the bubble popping it's hyper earraped. Also the time machine explodes when they bubble travel into the future, and when random citizens are shown in scene, it zooms in on there faces.
cesarjimenezanimator omg I said that too we watched tomorrowland today and I texted my friend and said meet the robinsons is like the original tomorrowland but better
"My project didn't work because I'm no good!" Wow, that is such a scathing sentence. It hurts me because I feel like I'm a failure from time to time too. How did I not get this when the movie first came out?
Imagine going back in time to the year this movie was made and telling your younger self that soon Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, and Prince will all be dead and Donald Trump will be president. That's how you screw with your younger self's sanity.
A year after this move was made, Barack Obama (one of the worst presidents of all US history in terms of creating debt, racial divide, and systemically weakening the country) became President, so I would say a "grim dark future" didn't take long. Maybe tell your younger self not to be an entitled, fearmongering leftist?
I recall hearing Wilbur’s voice in an early trailer for the film, he sounded younger than he does now. Either it was a different actor early on, or said actor had matured during production.
This was *THE* bomb for me when I was a kid. I even made paper models and pottery of the time machines in MTR, yet sadly, I lost them. MTR is definitely one of the best Disney movies Disney has made IMO, yet it was very under rated and didn't get enough love. This truly needs a sequel IMO.
3 years late, but who cares? This movie was going to have a sequel, but it got cancelled together with other sequels after John Lasseter became Walt Disney Animation Studios’ new chief creative officer.
I thought the way they show the future in this movie is super creative and interesting. Good word building is when the movie makes me want to know more about the world the characters are in. Make me want to know how it works and what happens day to day. That’s good world building and this movie definitely does it well.
The Dietzter I'm having a laughter attack because of the subtitles right now. There's so hilarious! "Wow! Such future, very time travel, much Lewis X Wilbur."
Lewis: Hey Let Go Of Me!, What Are You Doing???, LET GO OF ME!!. Wilbur: Okay. Lewis: AAAAHHHH!!!!! "Lewis Falls Onto Something Invisible" Lewis: AAAAHHHH!!!!! "The Time Machine Appears" Lewis: What Is This, Where Are We Going???. Wilbur: TO THE FUTURE!.
0:27 Lewis: My project didn’t work because I’m no good! There is no Blower hat guy! There is no time machine! And you’re not from the future! YOU’RE CRAZY!
Me: Wilbur for Pete's sake my project went haywire because I'm no good. There is no bowler hat guy there is no time machine and if you think you're from the future *YOU'RE CRAZY!!!!!!!* Wilbur: HOHO If you think I'm delusional then *YOU'RE CRAZY!!!!!!!* Me: oh yeah Captain Time-Travel? PROVE IT!!!!! *(and the rest is history)* The end
Wilbur where did you get that time machine I love the colors of the ship did Lewis build it one day I will be just like Wilbur and drive in the same time machine like Wilbur and Lewis were in
There's this RU-vidr called SmurfVlogs, and he does blind reactions to Disney movies. His MEET THE ROBINSONS blind reaction video was taken down for copyright violations; but when he first saw Wilbur push/throw Lewis off the roof he said, "You're gonna prove it to him by killing him!?" and when Wilbur made the time machine visible, he said, "Oooohhhh...Wait. What if you SLIGHTLY missed? If you missed, he would have died...or at least broken a couple of legs." Now I can't watch this scene without remembering that.
I love the other video of meet the Robinson’s the mother was leaving her baby and hug it and leave it and that boy knock on the other door so the mom can take care of the other moms baby 💜💜💙💜🥺🥺🤲🤲🤲🌹😭😢😪🙁😞☹️😔😕☹️🙁
