Loved Hatebreed since 2006 & after seeing you in 2009 & again in 2022 I love you guys even more! True greats & thanks for the amazing concerts & great music all these years, promoting a positive message. You truly Rock!!
I've been trying to tell people for years Hatebreed plays in a conventional style turning, not dropped. I noticed it in the music videos when I'd try and figure out a couple riffs. I'd love to see you throw some Doomsayer up on here. I believe that was in B standard, or that's how I'd play it and it sounded pretty close tone wise. It definitely sounded heavier than C!
In both, the low 6th string is tuned to C. C standard - the five other strings are tuned low enough that to play an open c power chord, you will hold the second fret of the 5th string and do on. The relationship between the strings is the same as the E standard tuning most guitars come in. Drop C - the other 5 strings are tuned high enough that to play an open C power chord you can just hit the 5th and 6th strings and it will create a power chord. The relationship between the strings is the same as Drop D
