My sister in-law has been in Canada for just 1 year. She said what she’s been able to accomplish in just 1 year, it will take her 5 years or more to achieve that in Ghana. She got a job as HR manager for a multinational company while schooling. She’s doing so well. But her story may not be the same for everyone.
It's not true!. Did she tell you her profession? Making $20 an hour is slave wage. A nice two bedroom is almost $2500 per month plus your utilities. $20 an hour is no money to say you are successful. Slave wages. You don't qualify to lease a car and buy a house with $20 an hour.

Making good money and living well in Canada takes a serious upgrade in education and professional life. It's not that easy. Driving taxi, cleaning, working in a factory floor, dish washing are ok but you will stay poor. Do not come to Canada to be poor.
I came Canada like just last year November. Honestly the country is very peaceful and hopefully. I came with a visit visa. But I will return back to gh and come and do gud preparation and come back well
Please, do not sell your properties to move to Canada. Canada is a credit economy. U have to pay the OSAP , the loan, the mortgage and any credit back (monthly minimum payments). Most Ghanaians are poor in Canada. Check the Canadian government statistics.
