Just found out...Josh's grandmother, Evelyn Groban, passed away a few weeks ago at age 92. They say he's devestated. She is the one who taught him how to play the piano. At this moment, I respectfully dedicate this beautiful Josh melody to Grandma Evy. Lots of luv to JG and his family in this time of grief.

I know this may seem very corny because of all the beautiful thoughts of people who have lost loved one. But whenever I hear this I think of the greatest dog ever in my life, Timber. He was with me while I was in harness racing and we went to so many different places around the country together. He once saved me from a possible attack by two men when I was fishing on the Erie Canal in the Vernon, NY area, getting between me and them and telling them in no uncertain terms that they should leave, which they did. He used to smile too. So this song fits him. Josh said on tv one time that this represents so many different things to so many people and he was so right.

My daughter passed away 5 years ago and I asked my church to please sing and play music at end of funeral mass. She was only 39 and died suddenly. Only Josh can make me feel her memory and being around me with his voice that is a gift from god. Thank you.

My wife and I moved to Spain in July 2020, from England. On 12th Feb 2021 she died. It's so painful to accept that she has gone. During our 24 years of marriage we shared true happiness and loved each other dearly. Her wish was for her ashes to be scattered in a favourite park of hers in Solihull, West Midlands. Because of (Covid) travel restrictions it's unlikely I can take her back for many months yet. I've been researching various hymns or songs to be played at her wake in England, and came across this beautiful song. It says everything I need and want to send to her, from myself, family and friends. In the past few weeks I've played it many times every day. It devastates to me to listen to it, but in a small way it brings me closer to her. Rest in peace sweetheart. xxx

This song makes me cry everytime I listen to it. It reminds me of my baby brother Seppy that we lost on New years Eve, The day before 2006... And my preciously beloved cat Simba who had to be put down because of his suffering from a bad hip and an Unknown disease. We couldn't help him because we were never able to afford a Vet visit....
