I'm deaf in my left ear and watched this whole video with my headphones in, not knowing there was commentary since its all in the left earbud. Wish we had an option to put RU-vid in Mono....

I like how Toad is beating up Peach for the many times she used him as a meat shield

Worst part is, this is probably the closest we'll get to Toad in smash for a long time. Good thing it's as amazing as it is!

Some people are throwing your mod trailer around as an actual leak for ultimate pffffffffffffff

I will note I think Toad needs some more facial expressions/variation but this is really cool. Definitely going in my game.

After seeing many of the comments, I noticed there’s been some difficulty adding toad in the build! I’ll be sure to release a preset build with toad included! Also CE and Remix are releasing a build soon with toad already included as well! Also, I apologize about the audio I’m the left ear! I forgot to convert the audio to stereo!

This is actually a super unique kit. This could’ve worked fine just borrowing moves from similar fighters but you really just went for it, and it looks fun as hell. Great job dude.

That idle is the most fluid one I’ve seen in a brawl mod.

I love how much the Up Special resembles the actual propeller suit, like with the speed, how long you must wait until you can start the drill drop and the sounds. At least from the gameplay, I haven't played the character

You did a good job with the moveset. I do think that the question mark block is a little overpowered since you can just spam the B Button and heal all of your HP. Maybe in a patch you give Toad a cooldown for the move making you have to wait a bit before you can use it again or maybe you could make the question mark block animation last a bit longer.

Incredibly great work! He definitely should be a real character.

Really well made. Love the idea of the forward smash and the cargo hold turnip and the aerial neutral b. His grounded neutral b is too nuts though and his smash attack with the spores is a bit too vague visually. But the animation work is very well done for a fan project!

Do you have a custom build of PMEx? Adding characters to that build is still very buggy (and impossible for me) at this point without always starting from scratch every time I want to add a character or code.

Nice to see Toad get some recognition; seems like most people don't care for him or prefer Captain Toad but imo regular Toad is very much deserving of a roster slot in Smash Bros. I don't plan on ever playing Project M again but if I do will hopefully try this out.

I'm not quite on board with Neutral Special, mostly because I'm not a fan of chance in Smash (except in Mr Game & Watch's Judge), and it seems rather powerful, but in the end the fact that this character is now playable in Smash is really cool. Massive props. It's up there with fanmade characters such as Knuckles and Lyn. May I suggest for a possible future update, that you increase the size of Toad's fists when he does the jab, like in Peach's pummel in Smash Ultimate. That kind of cartoony animation could really improve the impact of his attack, on a psychological level. Also (sorry to swamp you with suggestions), would it be possible to make his aerial version of Down Special also work on the ground when he's right next to an opponent? You probably have a good reason why you didn't do that, and I guess it isn't much different from simply grabbing and forward-throwing, but think that quick grab-and-throw maneuver could be useful on the ground. Plus I just really like that it makes the SMB2 throw sound.
