In this video I'll be ranking the games on the TOAPLAN ARCADE 2 for EVERCADE All EVERCADE footage captured on the EVERCADE VS CREATIVE COMMONS LICENSE HolzinaPATREON - Inner Life
I am a big fan of wardener, I played loads of it in the 80s it is ridiculously frustrating...even playing it on mame with infinite credits. Not played the other games though. I bought the c64 collection 2 this month and really enjoyed that (as well as Namco museum 2). I have to say I am really excited to hear the next lot of games coming out for the evercade.
I've started the second c64 collection, but there are a few games on it that I required some control learning for before I could do a proper review. It's the definitely better than the 1st
@@thegamesapprentice absolutely...I am a sucker for a game of uridum...also it is interesting to see the difference in c64 California games and the Atari Lynx
@@thegamesapprentice absolutely, also I like the surfing on the c64 it goes from right to left as on the lynx it goes from left to right. Also there is a shark on the c64 version.
I absolutely love Wardner no mori ! Its such a classic, extremely hard and frustrating like ghouls n ghosts. The graphics and gameplay remind me always on g&g too Even if its so hard and frustrating, with many tries you can learn it to get much better. But it needs not only quick reflexes but also memorization of enemys and traps. I only played the genesis version. I can imagine the arcade version is even harder!
Not a huge fan of the this, I bought it for Hellfire, but the Arcade version is brutal hard... either way its a great cart to have if you like shooters.
Change the word shmups for arcade games. And the answer is, It depends. If it's not in an arcade or doesn't have online score boards or vs then it has to be something very special for me to want to play it.
Funny, that you think Twin Hawk is the best game on the cart, because its the weakest game in the whole package. I dont have the cart, and never played the arcade version, but i have all the games on genesis ( those that got released) Twin Hawk is the most generic shmup i ever played. There arent even any flying enemies😅 just ground targets like panzers and battleship. And fire shark is a weak game too, but compared to daisenpuu (twin hawk) its a masterpiece!😂 The better weapon upgrades the better enemy variety the better continue function. Well yes its only 10 levels and when u got the final upgrade you re massively overpowered. But at least its a bit of fun. On the other hand there s Twin Hawk... that offers just norhing exciting. Weak music weak gameplay ( because lack of variety in everything) and sooo generic. After a few minutes the weak music penetrates your eardrums.. Oh well there is the kamikaze function ( in the original jp ver (daisenpuu) you re a japanese fighter plane...) And thats it... theres nothing that twin hawk has to offer. Its an example of poor game design that lacks the fun. But ofc its your opinion
