Hi @dprvr4617! Hope this video will be helpful as well: How to expand a restaurant to multiple locations in 3 months ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-RjsagC1lDTo.html Thank you and more power to your business!
Hi! Emails are often composed using templates within the system that pull in relevant information from a restaurant’s database. For images, especially those tied to specific subjects or promotions, many POS systems like TOAST have built-in features. They allow users to either upload their own images or pull from an internal library that matches the email’s context, such as menu items or promotions. :)
This was very helpful as I am beginning to do marketing for a pizza restaurant that will be using Toast. I saw that they don't integrate SMS. Who do you recommend for SMS only marketing?
Hi @anniekilko! I'm glad you found the information helpful! For SMS-only marketing, we are currently using Taptap. We had an episode for this: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GDn7fCCKlto.html Good luck with your new pizza restaurant!
Do you like the new update that just came out? What about their customer service/support in times of need? Any thing you'd improve? Seems like you really like the backend, but have seen some concerns about the new update for the front end usability. +1 here!
I am not fond of the updates. At times they care more about aesthetics than practicality. I agree. Again, our view is that there is no perfect POS out there.. so we work with what we have and stay focused on growing our sales and systems.
So how does this stack up against Micros or Positouch. I work at a concert venue and we use micros and we honestly are starting to really hate it and I'm excited to use a new system I've never used before. Especially cuz we have handhelds now and that's going to make it so easy
