I have seen numerous documentaries on my sister isle but by far this has been the best and quite enjoyable (didn't want it to end). George and Juliet, I say thank you for showing to the world the beauty of my country. Luv from sweet TNT.
This is an absolutely beautiful video! I thoroughly enjoyed it; it was well edited and I felt like I was there and not missing a thing. What a fun couple and awesome trip! Thanks for sharing and showcasing a beautiful island and beautiful people.
Thank you for documenting your visit to my country. This is by far one of the BEST videos i've seen that captured the breathtaking beauty that is Tobago. Thank you for sharing. 😊 Tobago is truly a gem in the Caribbean. I hope you're going to return time and time again. Much love from Trinidad and Tobago.
I love to see when tourist actually appreciate the culture an island . not stay coupes up in a resort . You guys threw down in the kitchen to !! I was impressed lol.
you guys went really local and I am happy to see that your stay was enjoyable, I found your comments to on point and not glossed over and as for the wife trying our dishes I can only say thumbs up, please come again if you get the chance and thanks for your visit.
I am a Trinbagoian and i lived in Tobago at one time but never been to these places, always wanted to. Thank you for comming and for making this very educational and informative video, well done, great job because of you i love my TnT even more.Thank you again.
Magical and so natural. You remind me of Joni Mitchell. Enjoyed the amazing environment and your witty comments. “I think a bee stung my nose” “Well its bulbous at the best of times!”
Thanks for your comments, you are the second person to say Juliet looks like Joni Mitchell, the othe was while we were in the Great Bear Rain forest, Canada.
I stayed in Castara just a few months ago (end of May) and stayed at a place just down the road from the Retreats. Magnificent beach. The shot at 2:03 reminded me of my favorite moment of the trip, which was our last night in Tobago, where my girlfriend and I spent the entire day at the beach, and then watched the most beautiful sunset I've ever seen. I absolutely loved Tobago, and we plan on going for longer next time.
Listen......I live Trinidad and go to Tobago very frequent for my usual family staycation. I have NEVER been in the bush like you guys have!!! lol DUDE!! snakes and spiders??!! Seriously??!! I'm really glad you enjoyed ur stay tho.......and thank you for putting that lovely video of ur Tobago experience. Hope to see part two when you guys return ;) cheers!!
Sheri Tyler Kimble Thanks for supporting my music over the years! Please support "TOBAGO NIGHTS", my song, on itunes.com ,inspired by this paradise! Thanks!
What a fantastic video! I am going to Trinidad & Tobago in September. I was looking for some travel tips and inspiration. Thanks for that. I did enjoy your video.
Excellent video ....we enjoy it with a glass of wine and we can't wait to do the same in april for our easter vacation ..... so ready for that trip ..... thank you !!! from Norway
I am totally enjoying this video - not yet done watching it but I just had to write this before leaving ... Fantastic job, very inspiring and moving me in some primal and beautiful way ... Beautiful, pristine and wondrous nature ... and people ... :-)
superb home made travel documentary! you guys really know how to enjoy yourselves and really explore the natural landscapes of the place! good sense of humour too!
Really good video. Enjoyed seeing the colours of Tobago. Living here you tend to get so used to all this surrounding beauty but your film helps to see through the eyes of another's
Thoroughly enjoyed your film. Absolutely fabulous! We All want to go now. We need your travel agent details! JUST AMAZING. It not just Tobago , It's George and Juliet Tobago.
I spent an entire summer volunteering with SOS Tobago through my uni doing conservation work for the nesting Leatherbacks and Hawksbills in Tobago in 2011. It's so nice to see a lot of the places I called home for a while again :)
Felt as though I was watching an exotic travel show on BBC. Its my dream to see my country Trinidad and Tobago being one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world!
Yeah! Like everyone else, I was charmed by your Tobago movie. I love your teamwork and your understated humour. You brought out the best in the characters you met along the way - especially the guy with the ladder (and the mum). I'm a Tobago fan (was born in T&T a long time ago) and you captured the essence of wild Tobago that we love most.
It's 2019 and I came across this video purely by accident looking for something to cheer up my mum. So lovely and so well done - Watching made me homesick, but I felt as if I was there enjoying your trip with you. Also admired your deep appreciation, respect and enjoyment of my homeland, it's culture, flora and fauna. I hope you will come back and visit again, if you haven't already!
Great job George... and Juliet! Really enjoyed your video and you have convinced me that Tobago is a place I need to see. Thanks for all of your hard work!
Thank you so much for this video, I spent time in Tobago as well and saw many of the same locations as in you did, it brought back such great memories. Thank you again.
Thanks again for the video. Further down in the comments, I realized that I viewed it before. I am originally from Trinidad and found Tobago to be a beautiful island. I am even thinking of buying a retirement home there. I must say that you were very brave to do some of it without a guide. It was very safe then.
You are very brave, I have great admiration for you, I live in Tobago's sister isle and have done very little hiking, would love to but am afraid of snakes.
Those who are concerned about sand flies can purchase a bottle of citronella oil and mix it with baby oil and rub on skin before going to the beach. Mix one part citronella to four parts baby oil. Spray or rub on.
this video is everything!!!!! my country is so beautiful and you all showed me places ive never been myself in my own country lol thanks for this video
George and Juliet! Another fantastic video! You're both so much fun!! What a gorgeous place! You are blessed to visit such exquisite places! Looking forward to watching more of your videos. I feel like I was there with you, enjoying every moment. Did you eat the raw cacao pods?
Hmmmm unbelievable!! do you know how many Trinis who never sucked cocoa??!! I remember my mom telling us back in her time when she used to live on a cocoa estate, they used to make a "chow" with the raw cocoa pods and mucilage....Chow = the cocoa beans and guts all soaked together in a very spicy mixture of hot peppers, garlic and green seasoning.
I really enjoyed watching this! I've been to Tobago and cannot wait to return. Is there anyway that you all can put up a link that will allow us to shadow your experiences by way of the people who were your guides?
Julie and George, Little did Jean and I know we were in the presence such artistic greatness. You truly captured the the essence of Tobago. Your work goes way beyond my ability to tell friends about this beautiful island and their greatest resource, the People of Tobago. Thank you!
You guys really get around I first watched I'm mothers island of Dominica I am ready to tour the carribean any touring advice would be great I live in the UK
Thanks for this beautiful video. I don't think that I will be able to do the hiking but I felt that I was there with you. You are very brave - I even saw a snake, I would have freaked out.. Tobago has so much to offer because it is still in its virgin state of tourism. If only the central government over in Trinidad would invest some money into the infrastructure of the tourist industry what a difference it would make. I went there last year viewing it with an adult eye (I went there when I was a child) and I was fascinated by the beauty of the island. If the government sees this video here is a note to you. More affordable holiday studio apartments are needed for your seniors abroad who want to be snowbirds and would lilke to come home for our winter holidays and get accommodation at a reasonable rate - we want to be your snowbirds - a voice from the Trinidad diaspora.
I am surprised that I wrote a post 5 years ago. I have sort of made up my mind that I would like get myself a house or condo there soon, especially for the winter months
