For Tobago Heritage Festival 2023, we travelled to Charlotteville in Tobago to see the unfolding of events at the Natural Treasures day with cultural reenactments of rituals and activities from days gone by ... the village had a series of events such as the old time Tambu Bamboo street procession, a Rhythm section also accompanied the participants, there was washing the clothes at the dead bed, they danced the cocoa, made a stop at the old coals pit, and also at the Village dirt oven Bakery, the batty mill was in full operation squeezing fresh sugar cane juice, and the old time Saw Pit was busy sawing!
Local blue food was everywhere and was so so good !
What a great day .... a must do!
