Eric saw Tobe just messing around freestylin and what not, and suggested he consider taking the craft seriously......and here we are.

This guy is one of my favorite current artists period. Think he’s kind of a “next wave” or the guy who’s gonna launch the new thing. The lyrical content, creativity and aesthetic are just through the roof.

Tobe was originally put on by E.T the Hip Hop Preacher who signed him about 5 years ago when he was coming out of college football.

Rap is not the music I usually listen to but I'm addicted to watching to you guys and this was great. I love watching Ryan's glee while listening to something special, he brings out the child in me and rises to the surface feelings and emotions I've forgotten or lost as I've gotten older. I also love George's ability to break down a song intellectually, he always makes me see a song's meaning from a new and intelligent perspective and I always feel like I'm gaining knowledge from someone much older and wiser then me when I hear him break down a song's meaning.
