Hi Tobias Not sure about your age, but I am over 50 years old. I love Heavy Metal (like Slayer), but recently I discovered psytrance as well. Metal and Dance do not have to fight, I love both!! Especially your mixes are great. As a matter of fact, I used Sunglider for my 50 th birthday party as example that old guys can still be young at heart. To me : Music that touches your soul, is always good music. To make it even worse: I have a new girlfriend (age 51) and she also likes this music. Regards from an old dude
very nice to hear! I'm 36 and listened to bands like Slayer, Sodom, Carcass, Morbid Angel, Iron Maiden, Manowar and not to forget my alltime fav Tiamat before I discovered electronic music! I totally agree with you about music touching the soul! and for your info, you're in good company because there are quite a lot older people listening Psytrance. it's not like the usual House/Dance/EDM scene. this music has a lot substance and because of this it became literally the new sound of the Hippie Movement. :)
sometimes I am really scared of the times when silence is here, when no energy is left to talk even one word. I pray for all People who are in difficult Situation. Daniel Strickland I've added tb[at]suntriprecords.com to my Paypal account. that should work, if you want to donate! ;) until now I told everyone who wanted to donate, that he should buy some original music, to support the artists which make all these magical tunes you find in my sets! but after thinking about this I came to the conclusion that I've reached a level of quality that costs uncountable hours to keep, and even more hours to raise even higher! for example on my 'Science Fiction' mix (only on Soundcloud) I've invested around 300 hours! most of the time took listening through about 4000 Fullon/Psytrance tracks, to find tracks which fit into the concept of the mix. result: about 30 tracks I've digged out ONLY, from more than 4000! and that project is _still_ not finished yet! :| ... I gonna finish it when I'm back from SUN Festival and after Science Fiction I gonna work on the long awaited Supernova sequel... luckily that one won't cost so much time. probably 50-80 hours "only" ;) due to this astronomical high effort I've put into my mixes I think it is just fair to get also some donations. apparently these would help me a lot these days! so every donation is very welcome! :) thank you!
Tobias DJ TB Bassline I have been using AVS in alpha mode and layering it with Milkdrop.. choosing how much of the "content of shapes/colors" gets thru,.. even though milkdrop has layering effects the two visualizers layered is intense the problem is only my graphics card.., not state of art,... :( If I did have a good graphics card I would be video filtering raw footage with effects - someday -
