That is true and he's also been very blessed to have had people James Hetfield be seen wearing a Ghost T-shirts after the Ghost debut had been released.. Not many bands get that kind of love from such a legend as a small band with 1 release.. . Makes sense that he tries to do the same now that he is in this potition of being one of the biggest bands in metal/hard rock (He's a major music nerd that would wear merch anyway hah but i reckon he's also trying to repay some of the love he got from industry giants when Ghost was a fairly new band on the scene.
He's also VERY Swedish. I know that sounds obvious, but I swear to God every Swedish guy I've ever seen has a very specific sense of humor and manner of speaking. It's weird, but if you know you know.
Thank you for this compilation, it totally underscores the contradictions of Ghost that I love so much- The band is a "Satanic Ministry", yet they exude goodness, kindness, and warm fuzzies. And Tobias is arguably the creative genius of our time, yet the man is SO humble and authentic!
He is truly one of my biggest inspirations as a musician, composer, arranger, and all around rock god! The range of emotions he has gone through in the songs is staggering. I honestly can say each and every song tells a story through these emotions and there’s never been one song I’ve heard that I didn’t like for any reason. This is not usually the case even with bands that I love. There’s always one or two songs on every album that are “meh” but not Ghost. I love to watch these videos showing him out of character and I can see why he’s not just amazing at music but being a dad as well. He cares about everything in detail and puts 110% of himself in probably all aspects of life. 🤘
I dont think I have ever seen a singer that "looks like their voice" tbh. Ill listen to a bass singer and be like "what do they look like" and it be a tiny bean@@cookiesontoast9981
I’m just recently getting into Ghost. I like how he has that stage presence with the makeup & the clothes , but he doesn’t try to hide off stage like KISS did early on.
@@macket83 I don't think they mean Tobias. But just the papa's being on stage. And they have been on stage since the beginning. Starting with Papa Emeritus I...or yk Papa Nihil in 1969, or his father. Or his father's father. Or his father's father's father. Or his father's father's father's father
@@macket83 He wasn't seem in interviews without posing as a ghoul that is correct, but after shows it was a pretty regular think for him to spend an 20-60 minutes with the fans before getting on the tour bus to hit the road. I met him after two of the shows on the Infest tour. He spent like 20 minutes talking music with me and 5-7 other fans which was my favorite meet, i got to ask some death metal questions which he enjoys to talk about as well:) Was good times. A great dude
Wait a minute. You mean on stage, Ghost - it is all just an "act". Never heard that one before . I thought he kept his make up on all the time, and sacrificed chickens to Satan before every show. Well, I'll be. LOL!
Yeah 😂😂😂😂 idk why but I wanna see him speaking his normal voice in the papa outfit😂 from my knowledge he hasent do that so for some reason I wanna see that 😂
Are you a religous politician. Just kidding. I am a Catholic that absolutely loves your music. I hear messages in your music that are not necessarily satanic...just very human. Lol well anyway.
@@stairwaygoddess I think he mentioned being on the spectrum in an interview once, but i can't remember which one unfortunately. It would make a lot of sense though! As an autistic person i can definitely relate to him in many ways haha
I think many of us had that one music, art or literature teacher growing up that was a slightly older clone of this guy. I also get minivan driver for LDS/Mormon youth Temple trip vibes. Nothing says baptism for the dead followed by an ice cream run like Tobias!
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nv7HA3Njo18.html some kind of inappropriate swedish christmas song, it’s like the first question he answers 😂
