The teacher relationship absolutely needs to happen. Because there's a line from Ajayi to Farouk that talks directly to the audience. Farouk laments about not having youthful gay experiences because he came out in his 20's. And Ajayi just says there's no age limit on those. And there's some many gay's watching this show being depressed because we missed out on them. So having Farouk have that kind of experience in his 20s to show us that having something like that later in life is also possible.
Im not surprised there were no pranks on set.. Pranks are either something you do with really close friends who you already have unshakable trust with, or it pushes the boundaries and someone usually gets hurt.. And something I've absolutely loved is the way all the heartstopper crew and each actor has talked about is how safe, and caring and respectful everyone was on set, and how welcoming... And how a natural friendship grew with everyone.. And I think that trust and respect and kindness is what carries through in the joy of the whole story line! Its wonderful to hear the genuineness and integrity of everyone on set, I think it makes it so special, it really comes across on screen And I think its really great role modelling! 😊
Such a lovely interview!!! Tobie just seems like such a great guy! Also couldn't stop grinning when you guys were mentioning season 2, it's so exciting it's actually happening 😆
Love Tobie’s musical choices. I saw ‘Waitress’ in the West End before COVID started. Joe Sugg featured in it and he was great. Also, totally agree with ‘Les Miserables’ with his comments on that particular show. Definitely GOAT that one!
Omg I can't believe Tobie was in Spring awakening it's my favourite musical and I can imagine he was perfect in it. I think I can guess which role he played too, he must have a fab singing voice. This interview made me super happy!
