I’m really proud of Tobin for making the decision to play for MU. That’s HUGE! We are going to see her career soar and I’m so excited to witness it. She obviously wants to challenge herself to be the best she can be and this is the perfect opportunity. She has my full support. I already have the MU Heath jersey. It gets me excited to have something to look forward to while struggling to deal with new pandemic life. It’s the little things that matter.

Well when Penny and D were on a touch down D mentioned when she had the chance to play with Penny she said he'll yes I want to play with my girl! Hello girls,what a great video,thanks!!!..i agree with Sarah that Tobin do the right by deciding to play with that great team...a couple of hours ago i whatched the manchester united vs brighton fc game,watch playing Tobin and Christen again has been great!!!..although they didn't play full time, they have once again shown their great qualities,and what great players they are....hopefully later they will allow them to play more minutes.....thank you girls...god bless you. ...

On the men's side, Champions League in Europe is an EXTREMELY HUGE DEAL!!! Clubs make a lot of money for making and winning that and they used that as a primary selling point to bring the best talent, while other clubs would have to offer more money or find some other creative way to compete for that. Some clubs, especially in Spain and Italy, sack their managers for failing to win the Champions League - even when they won their own league! Emma Hayes could take a page off Jurgen Klopp of Liverpool men's and shrug off that loss to Everton in the FA Cup quarters and tell everyone that the focus is on winning the UWCL - Klopp de-emphasized the FA Cup and League Cup competitions since he took over Liverpool five years ago and his credibility may have grown because of that, becoming perhaps the most admired and respected coach of any team in any sport in the world. And with Liverpool Women's relegated from the WSL last season, I'd bet that only 1 percent of Liverpool supporters really lamented that because Klopp brought the men's team Champions and Premier League titles. That is why Champions League is the only league that matters in European men's football and could eventually be that way for the women's.

OH wow!! Good info! makes sense! I always laugh when in the USA we have the "world" series for baseball but its legit all american teams and one from Canada lol - BUt yeah seems like alot of pressure but the competition is soo tough in Europe must be fun to watch!

I don’t think you realise just how big Manchester United actually are - they are one of the richest clubs in the world and also the biggest supported club in the world. Tottenham don’t even come close.

Yeah I agree. I think in the US as a whole don't understand the magnitude of Man United. Kinda like the Yankees in the USA are soo big ..but outside the USA no one knows or cares about Baseball at all!

Tobin answered partly almost exactly as Christen and you're totally right the she was also talking for Christen. Tobin is also absolutely right that in order to develop yourself it's always good to play in another country , where you have to experience a different kind of pressure than at home. Just like the WNBA players, these guys need to go where the money is. That's not in the NWSL at the moment. Perhaps the great US players playing oversees will bring even more American support to women playing in general, which will eventually help NWSL. Bottom line, these women need to make money.

Yeah the pay for the NWSL is so little in comparison. I wonder if no matter what The NWSL is just not going to garner support on a massive level since Soccer isnt popular in the US? I wonder about this a lot but I always try to be optimistic. Kind of LIke Gymnastics to watch is not popular to watch at all then Olympics comes around and Its the most watched thing on TV but would never become a popular sport. Not sure but Even baseball is struggling to bring in new fans. BUt baseball players make sooo much money is cray
