I was at this concert! It was my first ever concert and Toby and Trace were my top two favorites growing up! RIP Toby! What an American Patriot and hero!
Two true blue Americans here. Love the both. RIP Keith, you left an unfillable void in both country music and our country's patriotic consciousness. From a 24 year US Army vet, love and miss you brother. _"Never apologize for being patriotic, FUCK EM!"_
These two together gives me chills goosebumps. Both True American Patriots Toby Keith 2/5/2024 you got your wings now. No more suffering. Thank you for sharing your music All these years. You'll never be forgotten. 🎙️🎵🎸🎶🥺❤️🕊️🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲
Been listening to his music all week since I heard of his passing man he had so many great songs will never be another like him RIP big dog you are already missed
Toby IS and forever be a very big idol of mine. He has paid more respect and given more recognition to the TRUE heroes of my beautiful nation than all of the past political putzs. Godspeed my dear friend and go rest high on that mountain. Much love
Who will sing these songs now, I will miss him so much and the people in this country still need these songs. I hope, Trace, Jason Alden, Luke Combs and others will STEP UP. Trace already has and my heart goes out to him too. Love ya Toby
Every song that Trace does about the Milltary is just wonderful. He bring into the song as if you were there. You are seeing what is going in through the eyes of the soldier and what they are going through. 'Till the last shots fired' Trace took you to so many wars and through the eyes of those that didn't make it back. I mean Trace is one of the only singers that doesn't shy away from mentioning the Civil War in his songs and he does that with such grace and respect as he is talking about the Soldiers not what the Civil war was about. He pays respect to all wars that Americans have fought in. Having these 2 men sing together was just perfect.
@@carlaaustin6054 Welcome..Trace is all about not letting history be forgotten. Such as the Civil War as many see it with the ending of Slavery which is true. However many see those that fought with the south as for Slavery but that is not always true. Many southners fought because if you didn't fight then you killed for being a traitor. Also should be pointed out that there was a small amount of Northers that were pro-slavery and fought for the south just like there were southers that were anti slavery and fought for the north. Just like during WW2 and Germany, Not everyone that fought for Germany were supporters of Hilter and many wanted nothing to do with the war but again if you didn't fight then you were sent to the camps. There were even Americans that supported Hilter and joined his Nazi Army. That is why for me I say that the WW2 German soldiers and The Nazis are 2 very different parts of that war.
@sassbrat I know that children are not taught slavery was not the only reason that the north and south fought. A lot of things were happening that brought about the Civil War. I didn't know about these issues till I was in my 30s. I actually didn't know that blacks owned slaves. Our schools taught very abbreviated history. I didn't know what racism was till I was in high school. But there are singers out there that will come out from the shadow of these infamous artists. The songs tell our history and moral values at the time they were written.
Tobys music inspired so many people, especially those of us that he came to visit in a war zone. He helped us forget our reality even if it was just for a little while.
I saw toby keith and trace adkins in concert. Fiddlers Green venue, englewood, colorado. Dont remember what year. However, best concert ever!!!❤❤❤❤ i have bluetooth in my vehicle. Every chance i get i turn this song up going down the road!!! Like the song trace adkins sings "ladies love country boys!"❤🙏🤍🇺🇲💙. America lost a good patriotic man. May God comfort his family, friends and fans!!!❤🙏🤍🇺🇲💙
Several years ago I had Trace's song Arlington playing on my radio. I worked with a female who said "I detest the toxic masculine patriotism that Trace Adkins and Toby Keith reek of". I replied that I thought they oozed of so much masculine patriotic yummy-ness that I could just eat them both up with a spoon. She looked at me all aghast. " I suppose you LIKE the Angry American song?" I replied, " I suppose you LIKE Natalie Maines?". We never spoke again. R.I.P. Toby. Trace, I guess it's up to you carry on.
I never could see you in concert growing up, but I listened to your CDs every night. Your music helped a young boy feel less scared after the events of 9/11 and motivated me to join the military. Thank you for your work Mr. Keith
Rest in peace Toby enjoyed your music and ride. Fitting that Chuckie and Joey are right behind Toby I'm sure they welcome him into heaven. I hope Trace considers putting his vocals to this or one of your other Americana songs in tribute.
Absolutely a Toby Keith Fan from the beginning. We’re Praying for you Toby Keith !! God Bless you. Love this song and lyrics Tony. This is great I ♥️ You Both!!! Thanks for letting us enjoy your gift. Thank you very much for all You do for Our Troops and Veterans and Military Families
