Come on people this is a must see look at the real talented stars of Blues that are not scared to have a young man play along with them. It proves their talents and Toby Lees talent.
Jan E -I don’t think Quinn “needed” the mentoring, it was offered and he and his parents accepted. If somebody had offered it to Toby, I’m sure his parents would do the same. I think the experience of touring with Buddy, has enhanced Quinn’s overall playing and music writing ability. He has worked with good producers and understanding of the business has grown. Plus he is 6 or 7 years older than Toby . I have followed both since they each started posting. I prefer Quinn”s style. But maybe as Toby grows older his style will grow on me too. They both play well.
@@Knight14649 They are both great. Toby uses more notes and riffs in his playing whereas Quinn can but chooses to use the repeat lick style of playing and I think that catches the listeners ear more. Just an observation and opinion. But both are excellent.
Mv Hax 2 Ftw - he played on stage with JB once, as did Quinn. Guesting does make a mentor. Quinn toured the planet with Buddy for 10 years all year long.
Having been an avid watcher of Toby’s Sunday morning jams on Facebook I can’t tell you how much this young man has grown and developed as a musician. He so brings his A game when his on stage with guys of this caliber

Toby first of all great job, second guys like Ronnie Baker Brooks, John Nemeth, and Sugaray Rayford, are proud to play with great young talent like yourself. Keep up the great work, and be kind to another young aspiring artist like these famous guys are with you.
I been watching this lad grow as a musician since he was 10. He’s now 14 coming on 15 . Since this appearance he’s played with Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, Bernie Marsden Peter Frampton, Lucas Nelson and many more and and I have to say from what I’ve seen he’s fast approaching the big time. However, I have to say I don’t think I’ve seen him do anything before or since that surpasses the section from 4:00 to 9:20.
