Divorce is a horrible and traumatic thing. I pray for long lasting and happy marriages for everyone, myself included.

There is no perfect marriage. Just two imperfect people who choose to forgive and not give up on each other

God also hates a lying tongue, and liars can repent and be forgiven as well. Divorced people can be forgiven. I am a woman who has never been married, but I feel like the MOST important thing you should teach people is the LOVE of God and the redemptive power of God. May the Holy Spirit lead to change and conviction. It’s our LOVE for God that changes us.

Death AND infidelity AND having an unbelieving spouse who wants to leave you (read it for yourself). In those cases, you can divorce. A divorced person can most definitely be saved and are still children of God. Read the Bible for yourself.

I exited the video at the “Job’s useless wife” comments. Very off putting comment. Especially when you’re trying to tell people to stay married no matter what. Very disappointed. 😒

I find this video to be problematic. The SDA church cannot continue existing in an imagined state of utopia. This presentation disqualifies and trivializes those who have divorced.
