The message at the end of this theme says "Some of these guys will never make a dime, but in the process, they've been the true renegades. And the true rebels always walk alone anyway."
Giovanni La Licata It's a quote by Derrick May I think, about DJ's who never get the recognition, money or fame they deserved. It's in the original song.
LYRICS: (3:36) Some of these guys will never make a dime, but in the process they've been the true renegades. And the true rebels always walk alone anyway.
OH GOD I WAS LIKE 4... played this on my Playstation when I knew fuck-all about driving. And this menu theme sounds just as awesome as it did back then!
I think half the time I used to play this game just because I loved the music. As a sax player, ?I might actually try a cover version of it with my jazz-fusion band.
Hugh Mann really?! It was hard for me too in 1998 when i was 12 and relative new to racing. After some time you get experience and you overtake the most of them in a race.
As a kid in 2000 (age 11), I indeed found the game very hard. I couldn't win the championship on Medium difficulty. I tried again in 2018, and this time won the season on Hard with relatively little difficulties (a few exciting races, to be sure). I guess the game's handling model gets easier with age and patience, as being too greedy on the power often leads to oversteer spins (and what are children if not brash and greedy).
O man the memories I can remember the first time I hear the song my Playstation I turned up the volume on my hifi just to listen it louder I think I listened to hit I couple times before I started to play the game Toca 2 classic ps1 game
I literally started listening to EZ Rollers about a week ago and this exact song from this game popped up in a video and I thought I was tripping. What are the fucking chances
@@TeckGeck I believe it is often referred to as liquid drum and bass. Like drum and bass with all the sharp edges smoothed over or a sped up version of trip-hop.
@@slonky821 well it depends whom you ask as I have it on good authority that it is. I'm no expert on drum and bass so I'll just be over here listening to some jazz-funk, on which I am an expert.
