For the launch of Toca Ink we decided to bring all the tattoos, fly off to New York and throw a massive play date to celebrate the collaboration with Virginia Elwood. And we recorded the whole thing for you to watch. Enjoy!
Toca Ink, the first product in the Artist Play Series, was created together with renowned Brooklyn-based tattoo artist Virginia Elwood. Inspired by the bold graphics of Toca Boca’s characters, Elwood created six temporary tattoos that feature characters from popular Toca Boca digital toys such as Toca Kitchen Monster and Toca House, allowing kids to imagine what it would be like to have a real tattoo by one of the world’s most skilled tattoo artists.
To give the tattoos the star treatment they deserve we decided to trow a kid's event together with Virginia and invite all of you to celebrate the launch of Toca Ink! It was a sunny Saturday in October and we filled the Brooklyn Night Bazaar to the top. Thanks to everyone who came - it was a real success!
