Ah, I know a current MG engineer working on XPower but he had no idea it existed 15yrs ago, so I showed him this video game...

@@Dan-Bartlett He works on XPower road cars. The chief engineer all of a sudden said we were going to make sports cars under MG, like Mercedes AMG, and we need to see how sports cars are so they rented few Porsches and Mercedes. He never heard of XPower before so he thought it was something new under that chief engineer, then I showed him this.

Oh man I wish the Colin McRae Rally series had these physics instead of that slidy, soapy, "all 4 tyres feel punctured" gameplay. That would've been perfect.

I know exactly what you mean! Or the weird bumping when going over bumps or inclines. They didn't really sort that until DIRT

The Tour de Corsica looks a bit odd... The Escort lost quite a lot of horsepower since last stage. It must have been the FIA's doing! :P

The team worked double time to re-paint the body and to do some weight reduction to make the car shorter :P In doing so they took 95% of the engine power with it!
