Exactly! I’m the younger brother to my older brother. We never kissed on the lips but i know that other cultures and families do. It’s not even a sexual act so i really don’t get why everyone is so shocked.

Edit: and as an East Asian, it’s common in our culture for family members to show love like this. No, you see, this is the problem in the world right now. People not liking certain people/ways of life/actions and then proceeding to go out of their way to interact with said people/ways of life/actions so they can throw a fit over it. By your logic, no one with a religion should be allowed to speak about their religion outside of their homes because lots of people have a problem with their specific religion, and because there are still idiots who have issues with gay people, they shouldn't fight for the right to be in normal healthy PUBLIC relationships. What you are saying is, it's ok for this world to have hatred in their hearts for who others choose to love, decide for them whether of not they allowed to even have that age appropriate consenting love, or pass judgement on how they choose to age appropriate platonic love. Showing love is never wrong so long as the love between an adult and child is platonic and never sexual in nature. So long as love that isn't platonic is between two people who are on the same side of the age of consent. So long as the spiritual love that people show their god is never done by way of physically hurting, repressing, or controlling another living creature. In fact, so long and all forms of love, romantic, platonic, and spiritual all abide by the same 3 rules... Age of concent is everything regarding anything non platonic in nature, bring harm to no one, accept everyone that brings harm to no one.... then the world would be a MUCH more beautiful place. However, repression of love that is abiding by those rules, is always wrong. If I can show my form of clearly platonic love, he should be able to as well. There was nothing wrong with that, it's perfectly fine for blood brother to show platonic love, it's non sexual, its fine. Just like there's nothing wrong with two consenting adults being IN love. If two straight people can date publicly, then two gay people can as well. Just like there's nothing wrong with showing love to your god, any god, openly. So long and you do not harm or repress ANYONE in doing so. It is WRONG to be hypocritical, and it is wrong to have a God complex and think that we are allowed to do something and the refuse another human being that right. That includes love. You can't be allowed to openly love your god and refuse someone else that right, you can't be allowed to platonically show love to your brother and yet refuse someone else that right because their way is a different form of innocent, you can't openly love your consenting adult partner and refuse someone else the right to openly love theirs. Juat... you, know, don't be a well intended hypocrit on the wrong side of history. Lol, I know you were only trying to protect him from weird people, but you can't do that by repressing the innocent and yet allowing those doing something wrong to carry on with their repression. There's an old saying thay rings very true... "The highway to hell is paved with good intentions." Your intentions were good, but what has to be done to achieve your well intended suggestion is indeed quite bad. The worst atrocities ever committed by man were done with good intentions. For Wooyoung, it is not even a big deal. I never kiss my sibling or parents and I do think it is odd, but that is because I didn't grow up with it or see it a lot so ofc I am going think that. Everyone grew up different and do things differently so respect that. Wooyoung is just giving love to his brother not doing something creepy.
