Fun fact! Chickadees are a species of bird that do in fact yell their name at you. Their singing sounds like the word Chickadee, making them essentially real life pokemon.
Another funny thing about them is the Males instead of their normal Fee-bee there'll be another note that makes it sound like they're yelling "CHEESEBURGER"
About Winne the Pooh, he is actually a male, however the bear he was based off of was a female black bear named Winnie. (I googled this so I’m not sure how accurate this information was, but just thought I’d share to keep your childhood safe 😭)
Yeah it's true! Her full name is Winnipeg Bear (named after the Canadian city). She was the pet of a Canadian soldier who spent some time in England while he was on duty there. That's where the author of Winnie the Pooh met her.
@@suchnothingyeah, he placed Winnie at a zoo during the war, and that's where Christopher Robin and his father met her. The "Pooh" in Winnie the Pooh is the name of the boy's pet swan.
I doubt that's even the case. Blind taste tested a pack in a cinema where they all looked pink and it was so obvious which was which, even when pinching my nose. Complete rumour I swear. Some people just d u m m y . . .
No… that’s not what happened at all. The furthest they got was putting a microphone and transmitter on a cat, non-invasively, before attempts to train the cat were not successful. The listening equipment was removed from the cat and it lived with a staffer from the research team for the remainder of its life.
0:48 This is a bit of a misunderstanding. The bear that Winnie was named after was a female, but the character is a male as is evident in A.A.Milnes (the creator)'s books
11:58 Goofy has never been a cow and always a dog. Apparently Goofy is the re-imagined and younger version of Dippy Dawg. The only reason people have thought him to be a cow, was because he was dating a cow at one point in time, and had looked a little similar to her.
A fair amount of these are either simply untrue or are at least partially incorrect/worded wrongly. Subway surfers was not made in memoriam in any way, owl chicks DO sometimes sleep on their stomachs, (though it is not because they can't keep their heads upright, they just need sleep and thus, will sleep), and the Beluga "knees" are actually just fat pads that resemble human legs. The teddy bear statistics appear to be possibly wrong, as one website reported higher numbers, though the questions weren't _entirely_ the same. I stopped there, but try googling some of these cuz they may just be mis/disinformation.
18:07 this isn’t actually correct. Most toasters don’t have a timer built into them so those numbers are just arbitrary. Tom Scott made a video explaining this.
10:48 First, we don't know that much about viking beliefs and customs. We know some stuff, but the sources are very limited. Second, bones are primarily made of calcium, not carbon. Third, the carbon in steel comes from the charcoal used in the forging process.
10:11 the term, "break a leg," is actually used in the actual performance, the curtain is actually called a leg, and what they mean, is that they want you to do so good, the audience wants you to open the leg again to applaud you, so much that it breaks. I took drama, betch!
Fun fact: Toblerone has the word Bern(forgot the name for this kind of way to play with the word but here is an exemple: B l E R o N) in it, which is where it was created and Rone for the name of a lake there, even the mountain with the bear is from there(although I heard they had to change it but honestly, idk if the one in the video was one of them), this logo is extremely well thought out.
If the guy at 6:49 was named Alsace, that would make my geography-loving heart full of joy, but also sadness because the couple would no longer be Alsace-Lorraine.
Since VaazkL doesnt fact check these, i will since misinformation spreads like wild fire (btw im not doing all of them so keep that in mind) 0:47 no hes not a girl, its a boy idk why people think hes a girl. winnie the pooh was always a dude, same with 1:17 they dont have the same japanese voice actor, 2:06 no they did not discover a parallel universe. 2:55 THE SUBWAY SURFER OWNER ADMITS THIS RUMOR IS FALSE, basically saying "why would i make a game about kids getting hit by trains in memory of a kid getting hit by a train?" 3:47 very little proof, also its not uncommon for this to happen. 4:15 its actually making fun of men who catcall women, 4:25 its called candy corn because it looks like a piece of corn so sort of I guess. 4:26 just no. 6:03 it was actually LO instead of lol (like this really annoys me) and yeah LO was meant to be login, 6:20 no...they dont have knees. 7:27 theres no proof it helps. 8:36, thats called a crazy person and not true. 10:14 no, just no. 10:54 no, it was just cause women didnt have property and didnt need them, 10:45 its jsut a saying. 12:00 GOOFY IS A DOG NOTHING ELSE. 12:09 no. 13:18 also because hes just dumb. btw just look the rest up holy moly theres a lot of false info in this vid, DO YOUR RESEARCH
Skittles have individual flavour you can test this by eating them while holding your nose which the independant did blind and smellless and got 3 out of 5 right confusing red for purple and the other way around.
“Break a leg” actually dates back to the old times, where people would stomp their feet instead of clapping, that’s why you would want a performance so good that the audience would break their legs stomping the floor, otherwise clapping at you.
11:10 is not true, it's always been short for "Wireless Fidelity". 18:01 is also false, the numbers are different/arbitrary between most toasters and does not correspond to minutes on most(some new "hi-tech" toasters might but even then they don't work as well as one might think). heck if you make toast right after another piece it can take less time and can even change depending on what you're toasting. All's it does is move a bimetallic strip closer or farther from the toast which in turn breaks the circuit when enough heat reaches it. Don't believe everything you read on the internet kids.

15:52 I found this out when using a scientific calculator
18:00 This isn't correct either. The numbers on your toaster control how far the heated metal bits extend. For them to extend more, it takes more time, and also, the more it extends, the closer to the toast it gets, increasing the toasts heat exposure, so technically It increases Time And Heat.
0:47 Winnie the pooh is in fact male, in A Milne's books he is referred to as 'he' and in the cartoons he is voiced by a guy Winnie the Pooh is named after the author's son's teddy bear, Winnie (gender unknown), which, in turn, was named after Winnie, a female black bear which was donated to the London zoo by some Canadian guy who named her after their home town of Winnipeg. Winnipeg town is named after Winnipeg lake And the lake is Cree for murky water (win=dirt, nippee=water) So you could actually say that Winnie the Pooh is actually dirty poo water
3:24 When I was skinny (I’m a fatty now haha) I could kinda pinch my bellybutton and feel what I assume is some sort of “throat” leading to the stomach
The one I heard about Pigeon Religion (my new band name) was that if they got food every time they pulled a lever, they acted normally, but if it was random whether the lever worked, they developed rituals.
Fun Fact - Winnie The Pooh was originally voiced by actor Sterling Holloway and then later by Jim Cummings, so since both of these actors are males, it only makes sense that Winnie is a in fact a boy bear. (Besides the lack of any typical feminine traits seen on characters like Minnie Mouse and Daisy Duck, mainly the little bows they always have, is an indicator of WTP being a boy bear, and the whole a boy and his bear thing also indicates just two guys hanging out. And as a kid, and still now I just always precieved pooh bear as just one of the guys, and I still think he's adorable!) ❤️🐻
