Thanks for tge great upload Bro. Quick question is why did you not bandage around the edge of the shower tray to the walls? Surely that's where any leaks in the future will run down behind the tile into that gap?? Cheers
Beautiful work on bridging that gap with the lean mix. Didn't know screed could be used on anything with a gap like that! How do those slimline shower trays work upstairs when you can't cut through joists to sit it flush with the floor?
I was wondering what you meant by tanking . You got a lot done and it looks good . Do those floor tiles just clip together? Will they be waterproof? You look tired ….. sleep !!
The plasterboard will never be waterproof. The best you get is moisture board which isn’t resistant enough for water penetration. The tanking is a step further but it’s more piece of mind
