Isn't it better to allow the bananas to vine ripen for full nutrients and maturity before cutting the tree? Noticed most are green and only few are yellow. Beautiful food forest

if one turns yellow I need to pick them as otherwise the animals will! Also usually in one day they will all be yellow and ready to eat!

I'm from India. Odisha is my state. And we also grow fruits and vegetables in our garden. I just wonder how are you managing it all alone. Bcoz I know how much hard work, time & effort it take to take care & protect the farm & trees. I also wonder isn't there cattles, wild animals, monkeys around you? We've have a tough fight here to protect our banana, papaya, coconut & mango trees They menaced everything.

The Vitamin leaf is als known as Katuk and the Insulin plant I have no idea but here they also csll it sugar plant as they use it as a diabetis remedy!
