Something I would like to see improved in further seasons is showing how characters get to where they are. There’s a few times throughout the show where they just appear without explanation

This series takes place 9 years after Fallout 4, so the actor and actress that voiced the main character could be in the series. If the main character headed west after the events of fallout 4.

If you enjoy Bethesda Fallout you'll like it, if you're more a fan of the originals and new vegas you'll probably be annoyed by it

To be fair, the original Fallout fans (the “No Mutants Allowed” crowd) will get annoyed no matter what. They will hate any direction it takes, unless it was a 1 to 1 isometric, hex grid recreation of the original. I played and loved the original games back in the day and I LOVE the tv show! The hardcore Fallout fans are toxic af and unwelcoming toward everything.

To be fair, that's because they are counting on you not having played the games that take place in the region that the show does, that being Fallout 1 & 2. The flaws in the show compared to its source material really show if you do, and Fallout 3 and 4 being on the opposite side of the country bear essentially no weight on this show's story aside from the Prydwen being present. In fact the story is essentially a re-imagining of Fallout 3's main story, and coupled with the fact that the show takes heavily off of the comedic tones and visual aesthetics of 4 and 76, I'm guessing they are even anticipating that a majority of the audience will not have experienced Fallout 3 either.

I imagine, he runs a production company and a AAA game developer in addition to whatever this show demanded of him and apparently he hates delegation.

@@xabunga5520 I fully agree. I never take The game award’s seriously. Last of Us 2 and Overwatch got that title and it’s ridiculous. And I’m just gonna say it, Baldurs Gate doesn’t deserve it either. The game was not finished and it had a LOT of bugs in the third act. Anyway I just ignore that stuff and just play my favorites. Ok rant over lol 😂

They nuked Shady Sands in the show. NCR does not exist.

@@VaeSapiens that area always got nuked during the great war. Shady Sands had a Geck. That's how they became NCR. What we don't know is the canonical ending to New Vegas and what happened between New Vegas and the time of the show. NCR obviously fell.

@@jvazacas there also is no word of the legion, somehow the brotherhood is everywhere (probably cause howard has a hard on for them) enclave somehow has a huge facility on the surface no one knows about and vegas looks like a dead husk...no lights, burned out looking buildings, and securitrons litter the ground of you look close enough.

I think they might hold off on the really deadly enemies of fallout, such as death claws and super mutants. Since the main character Lucy is still low level and just out of the vault.

The fall of Shady Sand 2077-----> Atomic Bomb Explain that for ya. Maximus also told Lucy the Bomb destroy Shady Sand when he was Kid and he seem to be in his early 20s. The show take place in 2096 and New Vegas take place in 2081. So basically Shady Sand seem to started to fall in 2077 in go Bomb around 2083-2089. They have been teasing New Vegas in the background the whole show it's very clear they planned for it in Season 2 showing what happened.

Also from what I've seen Fallout 76 is really solid right now. It definitely got the No Man's Sky treatment albeit a little bit too late. But thanks to the show the playerbase is in an all time high right now haha
