Todd is not to weak in the hook, he just couldn't keep his elbow on the pad. He just needs to wrap his left leg around the table leg so he doesn't fly away when Dadikyan makes the hit
I think risers should be illegal, creates an unfair advantage to the one using it. Atleast if risers are allowed then they should have to both agree to use one
@@SHUBHAM678741 Denis has a stronger stonewall than Devon actually, the problem is that this was all Denis brought against Devon. Devon brought a phenomenal attack plan and broke through Denis with 20 surges. If they both stayed static like the first 4 seconds, Devon would start losing ground.
Dadikan is a no bullshit kinda guy. Sure hes not the most likeable guy but why does he need to be liked by the public. I prefer him than all these fools who try to people please.
Todd should go against the winner of Sasho vs Irakli and take the 95kg title. We need at least one American to hold a belt at East vs West and he is a big favorite against either of those two. Then maybe an Ongarbaev rematch at 95kg down the line because Ongarbaev is probably also best fitted to compete at that weight.
that is the class Todd wants to pull. He only pulled 105kg title match vs Ongarbaev because Engin wanted John to pull Sasho. And since he won 105 ofc he had to defend it. Now Todd will go to 95 and I think he will dominate
Not only seeing Todd get a stop bring he’s opponent to hes side just to have them regroup and reset and explode through Toddzillas side pressure and hook was unreal! And he did it multiple times also those 2nd 3rd 4th hits have so much power Davit is Animal!
Todd I hate to have to qualify your awesomeness with your age but my god it has to be the elephant in the room that finally gets acknowledged. The fact that you can compete at the level you do at your age is on its self remarkable. I don’t know if you’re so much of an anomaly or if today’s competitors are just not cut from the same cloth but either way well done and I really look forward to your next fight.
Yeah nothing worked for Todd, the thing is with guys like Dadikyan is that he has very strong static power to hold and hit through the strangest positions in weak positions, thats how Alizhan is as well (Alizhan is a notch higher) so trying to rely on pressure to contain Davit in one spot and not have him move like he did with Ongarbaev is just not gonna work, because he'll power through it with his static hits and Todd had no backup plan because he didn't need to have one since nobody had outpowered him with hits against his pressure but here it happened, Todd should cut to the weightclass below
What you said. I think that match is the most fun Todd has had in awhile. This was close. If Todd was a bit more explosive with his hits like Dadikyan, than tables could have turned.
hood got demolished lets just be honest lol. On his RU-vid Chanel he was making excuses as to why he lost but Davit was too powerful just dragging Todds arm of the pad because he had too much pressure. It wasn't even close tbh
It wasnt close? Do you guys have any clue the small percentages at the top level? If it was not close then there is no way Todd could catch that hit in a bad position OUTSIDE of the straps holding on and then bring it back to center. That match is super close. Davit won fair and square. But how on earth could someone not think the strength levels were close I dont understand that at all
Wasn't David like 50kg bigger then Todd and he's arm an hand are bigger also . When you consider all of the things I motioned above I think Todd did amazing the Man's a legend in my eyes. This match was closer then people think
After seeing David D give Prudnik trouble and dominate oleg, this outcome doesnt surprise me. Todd might be similar in strength but im not sure how similar and for how long. Dadikhan is a monster. But well see. 10 kg weight well see
Todd made alot of childish excuses. Saying Davit wasn't more powerful and blah blah blah. Wish they would just own up to a loss rather act like they had a chance to win but didnt do it right.
Its not problem to Todd go down to 95 kg category, coz his weight always 100 kg and not hevier, i think he easily can go to 95 kg, and be champ there, but i would like to see Uncle Todd at 105 kg, but he needs to gain some weight, and muscles power, coz his elbow and side pressure always in very high level, and i believe he will be much stronger in the hook with more weights and muscle power. And in this category 105 kg, fights is moreeeeeee interesting and spectacular with Todzilla, coz anyway his side pressure is the best and so 🤯🤯🤯
Todd should go for the 95kg, He's not beating Davit and some of the others, he had no answer for those hits of his, he got outmuscled by those deadly hits which were uncontainable and he didn't see that coming, that's the reality, there's always gonna be someone better, but Todd until now had a great run while it lasted, still love the guy no matter what but facts are facts
He will go to 95 thats where he wants to pull. But all Todd has to do is just learn how to slip really well like Devon for example, and it changes things in the Davit match. Todds only losses these past few years in his weight classes were Zoloev and Davit both matches he is holding on for dear life outside of the straps instead of knowing how to force the slip. Everyone could see in that Zoloev match that Todd would have overpowered him if he just went to the straps. Id still call Davit the favorite vs Todd but its close. But At 95kg I think Todd will dominate.
Match was garbage, for the fact it was a 90% foul fest. EvW needs running fouls; no one likes to lose via fouls, fans and athletes alike. Also the refs were/are garbage. Davit pushed Todd off the pad almost every round
