Holy crap, the very beginning with Zach is freaking HILARIOUS, and Todd chuckling in the background is priceless! Gotta love Zach's honesty too about wanting a pardon like his two frat bros. Love these two together :)
Well he did the full time. But yea todd & powell were out way to quick compated to him. I did get his bitterness that 3 men all committed the same crime he says he stayed quiet never trued to escape prison is on bis best behavior yet hes left to rot out his time while powell disgustingly did a month not even parole like a work release or mandatory therapt being on the sex offender list. Todd did run but got caught had not that teist of fate where he got a chance to do something heroic when he could have ran he got a pardon bit b/c the todd haters club ( powell was there ugh ) a parson means ur done record expunged too. Nope it backfired b/c todd wanted to move to florida instead he eound up around marty everywhere. Anyway they were all 3 levels of monsters. Powell raped a co ed & friend at times b/c he wanted todd to like him. Thats sick. What was he 5 on the playground. Zack was scary in that he had zero intetest in raping marty until todd said it & his " what the hell" was scary. He did it to go along for the ride. Todds was rage & wanting to humiliate marty.
If scary RH is your cup of tea, please tell me that you've seen him in the short lived tv show "Prey". OMG he was frightening. The character he played on that made Todd look like kitten.

@Dayziecat I like tsj and agree with you that he can be scary, but rh is just on a whole different level. Not saying tsj doesn't have acting skills, he does, but it takes a whole different kind of actor to play rh scary.
WOW! Now that I have come all the way back closer to the beginning of Todd's story... I believe some people think some of this stuff is for real... it is just a story being told by some really great actors there was no need to be hateful towards them for real the character yes, but NOT the actors...
I know there was so much juicy material w/ todd & marty ( rebecca needed to go she was a nit case ) but when todd said " i had a bad father whats ur excuse " i wanted so badly to delve into powells past. His father was viki & crazyily todds 1st couin lords are all bats$it ! Its that old old money 8n breeding crap i swear. We never saw powell lord the 2nd at his trial powell only had talked about how much he loved his mom who came solo to the trial plus when powell wanted to run it was to his maternal grandpa p. Baker. Someone gave powell dynamite for years & todd just lit the match. Powell i read was supposed to be a very closeted gay man in a rwisted obsession w/ todd a unknown relative albeit distant 2nd cousins.
I agree with Todd when he says that "life's a big joke". He's gonna find out that the joke's on him when he finally figures out who Powell is laying his guilt on.
javon lambert Yes I am aware of that fact, but tv mimics real life, if people love characters that are rapists then there's something not cool about that. For instance I hate what they did, but love the chemistry of the actors ...but fine live and let live.

javon lambert Why don't we agree to disagree. I do see your point . I myself at times enjoy the character of Todd. However it felt from the way these people as well as other comments from other people from other scenes spoke that they completely ignore the fact that Todd is a rapist. Some of the comments are really frustrating and frightening . But honestly, I see your point and appreciate your input.
amynyc419, as you may know, Roger Howarth (Todd's portrayer) thinks similarly to you on the "we love Todd" matter. Granted, he had more of an issue with female fans being romantically/sexually attracted to Todd. If we think about it, a lot of despicable characters are loved. Sometimes in a "love to hate" way. If murderous characters can be loved, then a complex former rapist character like Todd can be loved as well. The Todd Manning Wikipedia article notes that many people are confused about their feelings regarding Todd; some love him without having a clear reason as to why. As for myself, I like him because he is so complex and is not a one-dimensional villain. He feels remorse. He loves his children. He makes mistakes, sometimes recognizing those mistakes, and he often pays doubly for his mistakes. It's not easy to describe why Todd is so popular, except to state that the actor (Roger Howarth) and the creators/writers made him so compelling. If Todd were a child molester, that would be a different story. I highly doubt that he would have remained on the show or would have gained so much popularity. People hate child molesters so much more than they hate those who have raped an adult, and understandably so. As for Zach? Boring.
So powell just goes to counseling of his own volition? Usually when ur paroled , u have a parole officer & are monitored for a time period & have to do a work release, & for a sex crime mandatory counseling. Powell wasnt pardoned he was paroled. Todd was pardoned but it was more like a parole. He had to work at the hospital, could not leave the state, wear an ankle monitor. If he was pardoned outright I believe he would not have to do any of the above. His record I'm pretty positive would also be expunged. He said this a couple years later to his lawyer " my record is clean i have a pardon from the governor. I'm clean , well at least as clean as o.j. " lol. It was even funnier when viki came in , saw Winslow & Winslow said " maybe u can talk some sense into the juice over there " ha ha. ( please dont think I find anything about oj & the murders funny just Todd's dark humor
