It is scenes like this one that disproves what is posted on here: Todd is not a sociopath! He has no pathology... sociopaths do not or cannot express or feel guilt/remorse, they do not or cannot apologize, they do not regret anything, they do not get offended, the can lie so proficiently they can pass a lie detector test, they can/do love maybe a handful of people(but it's more like an obsession) so on and so forth... Todd may be psychotic or bi-polar with aggression...
Totally agree! He's not a psychopath or a sociopath. He has way too many feelings of guilt and love and empathy for that, Even though he hides them and schemes and plots.
RH has a way of portraying Todd that I'm always feeling that sublayer of unsureness and insecurity. Sometimes, like in this clip, I feel awkward like I shouldn't be listening in.
Todd notices a lot of his bad habits, and he acknowledges the fact that he has to change them (even though change has never been easy for him which he also acknowledges). The man should get some credit for that. Most people have to have their bad habits pointed out to them.
I find this scene interesting, he says he feels Christian Vega had something to do with the loss of the baby. Yet when he comes back after the Ireland mishap in '86, he talks to Viki and she mentions Christian and Jessica and he says Christian you know someone named Christian? Viki says I do you don't, Really?? With mistakes like these, here and in the past, they must be having new writers and the writers don't read past scrips!!
