After 13 years of listening to Todd I'm finally able to see him live and hear him ramble. Wish i hadn't spent $300 on Roger Waters tix. I could have got me a bottle of interesting eye drops and wandered around the states with Todd.
A lot of this makes me laugh, but part of me is sad, as you can see the years and the drugs haven't been kind to him. Mostly the drugs. And my motto is " to each his own," so I don't fault him. But I remember he was so close to breaking in to mainstream music at one point, even playing Letterman. And I have mainstream, but it would sure help a musicians bank account to be in it, at least for a while. Anyway.... If his mamma's still alive, she's still worrying about. Don't burn out, and don't worry your mamma's.
I grew up relatively... Well everything is relative, now that I THINK about it. But normal I guess. Anyways, at like @40 yrs of age, maybe.. 38? Idk... I met a man who I thought was cool n savvy. Got me to try drugs. Or A drug, really. Long story short, I found out a little about the corruption in society. Police. Politicians. Government. Etc, Etc. Was enough to keep me sober. But every now and then I wish everyone could just be friends and do drugs and hold hands and sing Koom By Yaw or however you spell it. Jesus is coming.
