This is the Gooseket Anayo Baby Hip Sling.
It’s not a full size carrier, but it does distribute the weight of your toddler for those times they want you to carry them. Save your back! This is not intended for hands free use, so always keep one hand on your child! It’s very compact when folded so you can keep it in your purse or diaper bag. It comes in different colors and shipped out oretty quickly.

I want something thats kind of hands free without the hassle of putting a bulky holder on, my daughter gets kind of fussy inside it now.. but my forearm hurts from handling her and I just wonder if its an arm/hand saver as much as a back saver makes sense?

Yes! Totally understand. It is equally an arm/hand saver. I literall just have to support her back, almost like if I were holding a purse if that makes sense.

My shoulder feels okay, but my daughter is very petite. It helps alleviate the back more than the shoulder

Do you have to be holding baby all times or can your hands be busy doing something else?

It depends on the baby’s age. I think if your child has good head control then you could potentially do something else. But just know it’s not like a traditional carrier that straps them completey to you. It’s more of a sling that helps distrubute their weight better. I usually am still holding onto my child somehow.

I’m torn between the gooseket and the tushbaby to take on vacation. Which one do you recommend?

Depends on how old the baby is. The gooseket is definitely more compact, but if you need to be completely hands free and your baby is still young then the tush baby might be the way to go.

Yes! In fact, I bought another one to keep in the car. It’s such a back saver! Especially when we go places and she just doesn’t feel like sitting in the stroller, but also doesnt want to walk. Toddlers, so fickle!
