Always a joy to see you all come up in my feed. Adia mic’d up is the best but even without it, your videos are still so fun to watch. Love seeing her technique and strength improve with each upload. Oh and good job not losing the backpack this run! Precious precious snacks need to be protected at all cost. 😉
No better feeling than being 4 gliding down those powdery hills, cutting ice with daddy. The feeling of being totally free and untethered. I miss my dad. 😔 ❤️ thanks you guys for posting this. Brings me back.
It's amazing how she goes skiing. He is a little master. I envy her skills. I can't even "imagine how she enjoys her childhood and the time she spent skiing
She has such determination. Tell her she can't & she's going to do everything in her power to prove you wrong. What a cutie! Love her hearing her on the mic.
One of the most physically challenging tasks in life is to teach a toddler to be independent on alpine skis. The problem: Once they have mastered turning and stopping, you will spend a season or two desperately chasing them! Kids are FAST LEARNERS!
DDoA, guess the one eyed monster and the bear are her special favourites. Oh forgot, she waved the wolf as well. Always nice to watch her and indeed you never know whats coming on a day skiing with Adia :-D
Here in South Africa only a few places get snow so l have never skied. I will probably just stay down after the first fall and slide along on ny back. Easier. Anyhow,l love seeing how totally comfortable she is and how easily she navigates the trees. She is really rocking it.
These moments you get to share with your kids at this age are so special! Nice work! I'm the only oddball snow sport lover in my family so it can be a little lonely, lol. Listening to Adia's comments is the best!
Flipping amazing. This makes me want to cry. I grew up in Germany & I and my friends were all on ski slopes at this age. It was great. I have very pleasant memories of cross country skiing with my dad.
beautiful, I ger happier every time I see a new video in my feed. Thank you… P.S. I prefer natural sound ms over music (your videos are my fav regardless)🥰 keep coming 🙏🏻❤️
I went skiing! You might have seen my last comment - I love it now! Within two days I went from not wanting to do the smallest slope to going onto the BIGGEST slope here!
Wear big insulated mitts (not gloves) Holding poles also can make their hands colder. Make fists on the chair and use disposable hand warmers if needed. They are expensive if purchased a ski resort but we buy them in bulk at Costco!
see if you can find some kind of insulated leather mitten. fake, legit leather- doesnt seem to matter, the windblock seems more or less the same. then, find sliiiightly bigger mitten of proper wool and wear it ON the mitten. Seems to work way longer that way than the opposite way around (wooly mitten under the leathery one)
i´ve not tested this on goretex or such myself, but the key seems to be some kind of more stiffer windblock layer under the wooly mitt. the leathery option kept my grown ass warm during peak humidity in -27c and 5ms of wind, so from that standpoint - i´d dare to suggest it works with a child. does with mine. turned out, my face covering was a problem that day - my hands were 100% fine.
He’s a blog post from last year highlighting the gear we use. There are other specific blog posts on my website going over gear selection: thatmountainlife.com/what-we-wear-skiing/
