You can tell Jo spends time with the kids that we don't see. The children always get excited when she arrives or sad when she leaves. I wish we could have seen more of that.

It’s more likely he never even said that response to that particular question. Or he was joking, she knew that and laughed. Or he was half joking / half serious and she nervously laughed again. Lots of possibilities here...
When he said that that made me so mad. 🙄 Like YOU should be too buddy, they're just as much your kids as they are hers. She didn't lay down and make those kids by herself! Can't stand any parent that is like that, puts all the stress and responsibility on the other.
help his apology sounded so robotic and not caring at all 😭 also is it just me or did Jo actually sound quite emotional when she told Kate to talk to her husband about how he is treating her?
Dad expected mom to do it all but when Jo sent his wife to work he wasn't sure if he could do what his wife does YET he expects HER to deal with the children and the house and her to be all wonderful and basically do everything.
Sorry but that "dad" is awful to his wife!! He's so lucky she puts up with his c-r-a-p as Jo says lol hopefully he actually changed and treats her better!
I guess the dad is being mean and aggressive in front of kids towards his partner. That's why the kids are aggressive and bully too.they are learning from him.
I never forgot the diaper bag but it’s completely understandable as is forgetting ones purse, credit card, heck even shoes! What’s incredible is that the little boy literally told the dad “Look, I bit his diaper” literally holding the piece of diaper in his hand and then he questioned why his pants were soaked! Like your kid literally broke his diaper, what do you expect???
I'm so glad Jo made the parents switch roles so the dad could experience working from home!! Lucky for him he already had some of Jo's tools under his belt or his experience would have been even worse!

Sadly, the husband's 'second and 'sincere" apology was, "Sorry when I POINT out YOUR FAULTS" (etc) HER FAULTS? Does he just see HER FAULTS? He degrades her while apologizing to her.
You know what happened when my children's father treated me like this? I packed up our stuff, took the kids, and left him. Filed for full physical and legal custody and won.
That was not an apology. He still put her down. He said driving at your faults. That's not accountability! That's still blaming her for his behavior. No one caught that????
When the husband asked if his wife was nervous, and then snuggly said, "well you should be...." I wanted to reach threw my screen to back hand him. You deserve so much more than that girl!

Those kids are too little to entertain themselves whilst their mother is at the computer and when kids are left to entertain themselves they usually get it spectacularly wrong

I am only 19 years old. But watching this episodes is like me in school. I literally take notes so when I do have kids I have an understanding on what I am doing!

The fact that the parents were smiling like immature children while their kids were attacking the other kids at their coffee shop on the video Jo was going over with them from the few days she was gone speaks volumes!! Rediculous!
Why is anyone surprised their coffee shop closed down? What parent or kid would wanted to go back after hearing/getting screamed in the face and pushed down to the ground by uncontrollabled little tyrants?
Probably the only parent in this history of this show that got the timeout thing right while Jo was gone. Props to her... Dad is just acting childish because of insecurity.

This business sounds like one of those ideas that when you bring up beforehand, everyone says it’s a great idea, they would go, etc. But when you actually open the place up, it just doesn’t make enough money.
This is definitely one that I would be interested in seeing an update on. Because that Dad is NOT coming across as genuine AT ALL. I would bet that things went right back to the old ways when Jo left. I would dearly hope that Mum found it in herself to stand up to him. She deserves so much better! Bless
Nope, 🤷🏼♀️ kids just go through hitting or biting phases when they’re young. There doesn’t have to be any where they’ve learned it from, speak to any parent and they’ll tell you their kids tried to hit or bite them when they’re younger. Logans never been told / shown it’s wrong but it gets his parents attention and it’s something to do. So he’s just escalated to the point he’s at in the video.
None of my kids hit or bit. You're right though that many do this & usually out of frustration from lack of communication skills. It's obvious its just escalated. Hopefully it got resolved.
She defers to him constantly, it's hard to watch that. Her answers are to please him, his answers are to please him. I wish I could reach through the screen and tell her that she's worth it and she's worthy. Guys like that are self-centered. Yuck.
Curious how the father was raised to be so critical of the woman who gave him beautiful healthy children if he’s not going to change he will end up alone paying child support and the business sold as marital assets to be split between them what might help is for him to talk to other men who lost their families and hear how much it sucks because the price paid for taking your partner for granted is steep

I get the feeling that when the camera is gone that guy goes back to his old ways or even escalates. One day he'll put hid wife and kids in the hospital
Something I notice parents doing: "stay in time out,.okay? This is the rule, okay?" Parents! Stop asking your kids! You're telling them, firmly, not asking them! Don't say "okay?" Or use an appeasing tone with them.

Oh I remember this. The dad had some anger issues. I hope the years have aged his behavior for the better. You know some people don’t realize how bad they’re behaving until they see the camera footage so hopefully dad had that. I honestly didn’t realize how toxic he was until the comments pointed it out, cause that’s lowkey how I was raised. I’m kinda used to the constant criticism and the “why can’t you be better,” talks.
How dare he speak to his wife like that.. that breaks my heart that she has to go through that. I really hope he is her ex husband now. I wish they gave updates on what happened after the show.
I sincerely don't believe in staying married because of the children. The children and wife and even husband all suffer. I don't at all think this guy deserves his wife. I hope he really did change but it's hard to see. I hope she's okay.
How and why most ladies suffer as housewives in most video(USA has working ladies too)then suffer being alone without men carrying up there children?????
So did the kids stop bullying other kids in the coffee shop? Cause I didn't see them ever get punished for that. And the one thing that wasn't mentioned is that these kids will never make friends if they act like this. If you don't discipline them, you're ruining their lives.
This Father is clearly abusive im surprised the wife hasn't left him and taken the kids with her Why havent the adults installed discipline into the boys as their behaviour is totally unacceptable The parents should be ashamed of themselves they are immature and they are inconsistent
I once blinked when I picked up my child from daycare and they said they didn't discipline the kid who bit my then 15 month old drawing blood because "liability" and I said "I'm not asking you to spank them. I'm asking there be co sequences like timeout." Ug
