The crazier aspect is Todo walked into the fight knowing if he got touched once he’d die and that his hits are not going to damage Mahito. He’s a dog knowing he’ll be there to lift Yuji up and support him as his BESTO FRIENDO, plus the scale. Even if Todo could take one touch Mahito would make sure to touch him again and it’s game over, this is how you set true stakes in anime. No one’s safe and just imagine walking into a boss fight knowing if they TOUCH you it’s a one hit K.O.

Nah but Devi spittin with the "How can you like Mahito" bit. Sukuna is JUST as twisted and fucked. To the extent that he told Yuji in S1 (episode 4) that if Yuji let Sukuna take control, he'd fuck Nobara. He's literally called the king of curses not because he was 'the strongest curse' but because he truly seems to embodiment the evilness of curses. Even Jogo found Sukuna to be more evil naturally than himself. People need to recognize you guys aren't saying you support what Mahito does, he's just a dope ass villain. The fact that literally everyone wants Mahito dead, including y'all, is proof of that.

Just to clarify, the anime extended that time between Nobara turning the corner and Mahito touching her. In the manga it was basically as soon as Nobara turned the corner that Mahito said “tag you’re it bitch” so Kugisaki basically had no time to react
