This is too much of a puff piece ;it would be good if you looked at the problems which say a lot about football today. The Club has its core principles. Beyond the fact theres been endless arguing over what these actually mean/interpretation of,it can be said that these actually hold the club back from progressing; step 3 with an odd flirt with step 2 seems to be about the limit. This says a lot about how much sponsorship/outside investment plays in success these days. Having said that, I only really watch the NL scene these days supporting my local club who have a huge community presence and punch above their weight. The odd FL game I watch, but I would never ever go to a sports franchise P(lastic) League game and it's good that these supporters have twigged how much of a sports franchise club (ie fake) Man U have become-along with City Spurs Arsenal Liverpool Chelsea and the rest.Sports franchise clubs owned by franchise holders to make money. The rise in price of the "most affordable" season tickets to near a grand should tell the rest that fact. "Don't like it ? Bugger off then, we've got a queue of franchise football fans who'll pay it" That's how much their now fake plastic clubs care. My side will never make the PL which saves me from an irony. We want success for our clubs,but it ultimately-via promotions-leads to a league I would never watch a game in!
