Together Again After 7 Months - Cord & Arvin - LDR 

There are no words that can adequately describe how envious and happy I am for the two of you. Like Cord, I live in the U.S. (Ohio) and on February 22 of 2015 I accidentally met on RU-vid, one of the sweetest guys I’ve ever known and he too is living in Manila. Our age difference is great, but nothing either of us was uncomfortable with. Shortly after we “met”, I asked if he’d be my long-distance boyfriend and he accepted. For the next two years we spent a lot of time writing each other, spoke using FB phone and Skype. We grew to care a great deal for each other despite the 7,000+ miles that separated us. Unfortunately, we weren’t as fortunate as you and we weren’t able to meet face to face and the distance along with the lack of physical connection proved to be too much and he broke up with me yesterday. I don’t blame him and I have NO ill will towards him. I understand. I hate the fact it happened but I understand. He hung in there for two years and five months. Always hopeful, always looking forward to the day when we could start our life together. We shared many photos of our daily lives and the stories that went with them and I will always cherish the memories we made together. We made many plans and shared many hopes with each other and I miss him so very, very much! To Arvin & Cord, you are very fortunate. I hope you understand exactly how fortunate you are and live every day to the fullest with each other. And to my sweetie, I miss you so very much and I will never stop thinking about you and the things that might have been. I hope you find happiness someone who will care for you and love you as much as I would have.

I told my dad I was gay then he said ...remember this my son I already knew you are but one thing I don't want to find out later is that you go home pregnant,, I won't accept it. haha

I hope can find same that guy who can love me and to accept me who am I.

I myself have been in a long distance relationship with a German guy. We were together for 2 years. He flew here in the Philippines couple of time in that 2 year period. We broke up. Yes LDR is difficult, really difficult. We are still friends until now. I guess it was a right love at the wrong time. That's life.

This is amazing! Glad to see you both meet again! It reminds me that I had a LDR couple years ago. Back then, he was living in Canada pursuing his college and master's degree, and I was in Taiwan, our hometown. For the first two years, cuz i was just a ooor college student and couldn't affrod to fly there, he came to Taiwan every two to three months to see me and visit his family lving here. Luckily, after he finished his master's degree, he came back to Tawwan to complete his military service and then got a decent job here. It was then that we really could do lots of things as a couple did. I can definitely relate to how you feel and I know how wonderful it is to meet your partner after a long period of time! Thanks for sharing this touching moment of your life with us. :D
