i'll never forget the first time i dropped this track. i was playing the outdoors stage at an afterparty and had just got this record a day or two before. just as the sun was rising i happened to drop this track and the crowd re-surged with energy! me and the friends that came with me still relive this moment in amazement almost everytime we see one another!
This song makes everything in life seem so much more positive and powerful. And after me being in prison for 2 years where there really isnt any love around,to listin to this and enjoy the little things in life.Just makes me happy.Great song man
This was a ‘get out of jail card’ track wen it came out Absolutely no need whatsoever for how good this tune is Lyrically, yeah of course it’s one sentence but OMG the production! A house music masterpiece 🙌🏼
@2dxm It's called a 'cover' or 'remake' and is totally common, especially these days, and does NOT mean anybody is ripping anybody off. When someone releases a cover, they either give all the publishing royalties to the original rights owner, or they've made a split deal with them.
one week later, I'm another man of 2012, and I'm here. I'm only 15 and I find this sound so great! I'm so proud of my country when I remember that Thomas Bangalter is French :)
hahahha , so true ! when i have a bad day or im angry to life , and always come and listen to this music , i have been hearing it like 2 years ago , and i will keep listening to it till the end of my days always makin me happy
Thomas Bangalter and DJ Falcon did such a great job on this. I'm so glad they are working on a Random Access Memories together. That album is going to be incredible :D :D
@Lorenshyne Yes, this song features a sample from a 1970's tune " Love Is Such A Wonderful Thing". Thomas B. and DJ Falcon got a piece of that song and made this tune in 2002 as the band TOGETHER ( a side project from Daft Punk ). FREELOADERS on the other hand also got the same sample from the 70's song. Making an almost exact copy of the previously realesed song by TOGETHER. In 2011, Fredde Le Grand, just said... "Fuck it, im gonna rework the TOGETHER song into my own thing"...THE END.

I googled it and found it on a website that gives free downloads of old FH songs (Solid Goldberger blog). This song was obviously on it, and the blog's author even said that he was glad Daft Punk or Busy P haven't shut it down.

@omnipitantlyoriginal But I think that that is what makes Thomas Bangalter's (and Daft Punk's) songs so good, is that when you hear some songs, there is a part in them that you wish that would just continue and repeat itself, and usually its the intro, and thats what I think makes this song and so many others that he has made sound so good IMO.
