Everything Jircniv has done in his Empire is to ensure it is a shining beacon of progress and prosperity, generations into the future. He's not just thinking about a few little years of quiet. In a world where your neighbor rivals are all fighting for supremacy, not thinking long-term is a death sentence.

the Re-Estize Looks down or magic users that is why Re-Estize doesnt have any Casters in their court or army. and that is why they underestimating Ainz' power and called out Gazef a Defeatist since Gazef have seen a miniscule sight of Momonga's Power

The Re-Estize Kingdom's government consists of two major factions: 1. The Royal Faction: Comprised of aristocrats who support the royal family, particularly Prince Zanac. They appreciate Zanac's intelligence, education, and reasonable nature, which they believe are essential qualities for ruling the country. 2. The Nobility Faction: Consisting of powerful aristocrats from noble families that have accumulated immense wealth, power, and land over generations. This faction sees the King and royal family as mere puppets to be controlled. They specifically support the first Prince, despite his foolishness, as they believe they can manipulate him more easily. Elias Brandt Dale Raeven, a blonde nobleman with a son complex, holds the noble rank of Marquis within the Kingdom. Originally a hardcore career politician, Elias was officially a member of the Royalty Faction. However, he strategically played both sides to advance the stability and safety of the kingdom. Initially, he cared only about using people to strengthen his family's name, including his wife, who was part of a political marriage. However, everything changed when his wife gave birth to their son. Seeing his child for the first time and feeling the baby's grip on his finger, Elias experienced a profound change of heart. He realized that he didn't want his son to grow up in a corrupt kingdom. As a result, he started plotting with Prince Zanac to place him on the throne, believing Zanac would make a better ruler than his older brother. Together, they aimed to create a stable environment where Elias's son could be happy. This transformation in Elias's personality touched his wife, who initially saw herself as nothing more than a tool to him. Seeing the change in him after their son's birth, she started to find him more lovable and began smiling. Furthermore, their son expressed a desire for siblings, which brought joy to Elias, as the thought of having more children as adorable as their firstborn excited him.

No1 who didn't read the novels actually understand how fucked they are when Ainz pulls out 500 Deathknights(mind you, in the novels there were other creatures part of his army aswell) 1 Deathknight is said to technically be able to take down a nation on its own.(This being the case due its abilities, such as raising its kills as Zombie squires + the fact that humans have a...let's call it unfortunate lvl cap :'D) And this man casually brings 500 :'D

I know you've probably already finished watching Overlord, but I can not wait to see your reactions to the next episode and the later ones with Ainzs' dealings with the Empire. Climb is set up to get curb stomped, wearing "kill me" armor and lacking the necessary training. Renner's fucked up, but we all already knew that one. Enri will get a bit of a spotlight in the next couple of episodes so I hope to see you two enjoying the shenanigans that'll happen in Carne village. Ainz set this 'shock and awe' intro for a minor fraction of his troops to rattle the Empire with his might, though if I remember correctly he did have a more wholesome reason to attend the war. Yes, it was to show off his power a little bit, but the Emperor did request his help and he earnestly answered... If people mistake his intentions as a 5d chess play then he'll let them think as such. Do remember that a single Death Knight can upend a whole nation by itself. Everything it kills will be raised as a zombie/ghoul to follow it around as one single enemy ends up becoming a tidal wave of undead. Good to see you're going to be watching Slime and GATE as well, you're definitely going to be enjoying Slime and its machinations with GATE just being a "JAPAN SUGOI!" kind of thing, still entertaining enough, however. Let the *Splat*tening begin!

The reason Renner makes Climb wear silver is not only to gain reputation. It's to make him stand out, LITERALLY. She wants him to die so he can be resurrected, weakened. Then she can take care of him (as she has said) Also that's just a portion of Ainz's expendable force which he summoned. In other words, not his true powers

I just noticed. The General of the Imperial Army is named Carvin. A single name, not even with a surname unlike Enri Emmot or Nfiria Barear. Probably some street urchin who elevated himself to the rank of General through merit and skills. Truly Blood Emperor Jircniv is GOT (amongst humans of course).

Idk why but I love when you guys say Ainz' full name "Ainz Ooal Gown" lol (I refuse to use the s in this sub) but it is great. I love that the kingdom of men was worried about Death Knights lol like... Oh honey.. Always a good ep with Brain and Climb making an appearance with Gazef. Love that trio.

In the novels it was death knights riding soul eaters.

During the meeting of the noblemen, one significant aspect is their severe underestimation of Ainz. This stems from centuries of corruption, incompetence, and limited education in the Kingdom of Re-Estize. The kingdom's nobles were generally uneducated in areas about magic beyond childhood stories. Despite having an adventurer's Guild whoc would very well correct their misconceptions, the nobility would just dismiss the advice of peasants, making their perception of magic users laughable. They generally view magic users as less threatening than regular soldiers, believing that a magic user can be easily defeated. Marquis Raeven, Prince Zanac, and Gazef are the only individuals in the room who can grasp the potential danger posed by a magic user. Gazef, in particular, has firsthand experience of witnessing Ainz's power when he singlehandedly saved Karne Village. In the Light Novel, Ainz summoned an army consisting of 200 Death Knights, 300 Death Warriors, and 500 Soul Eaters as their mounts. Death Knights are renowned as legendary undead beings capable of conquering small kingdoms. Death Warriors are their equivalents but with greater agility and attack power, due to not having to lug around a heavy shield. The Soul Eaters, skeletal horses with a fiery ghostly aura, possess the ability to passively drain the souls of those around them (it also makes them hard to kill, because each soul they consume restores their HP). The presence of these creatures, especially the Soul Eaters, struck terror into the hearts of the people. In the new world's history, three Soul Eaters had decimated entire kingdoms on their own. Ainz's army instilled fear in the Empire's forces, who were relieved they were not facing such a formidable opponent. Also Ainz had disabled the friendly fire of the Soul Eaters to prevent accidental casualties within his own ranks. The animators had to omit these details due to time constraints, using CGI models of the Death Knights instead of creating separate models for each type of undead creature.

Guys, please pay attention to what is happening around Renner and her lap dog. Keep in mind that Shaltear stopped going after Brain when he was with the kid and that Renner tells him not to change his armor colour ;)

Poor this Kingdom, they don't know what will hit them. They probably assumed Ainz's power base on Magic Caster from 13 Heroes era.
