I have a 50 horse four stroke on my pontoon boat and just completed my fourth year with absolutely no problems also lots of power and amazing fuel economy.
I have a 18 ft 1957 Lyman classic wood boat with a short transom. This was the only engine that has a short shaft at 50 hp. Plus it just runs and runs, uses hardly any fuel and starts every time. Highly recommend!
Just purchased one for my 1970 starcraft . Hoping I can troll with it. What do you believe is your lowest speed achieved with the rpm at 650 ? Thank you.
I live in Maine bought 50 4 stroke going on second year commercial use 6 days a week starts first time every time no issue's at all ! Will keep you posted if that changes
If you don’t mind me asking sir I’ve had a few people tell me these motors are bullet proof but don’t have the grunt of equal horse power motors such as mercury and Yamaha. Have you notice a lack of power? Thank you
@@joshpittman6021 no I actually have no problems with power, recently blew a coil on the river though , tech said coil wire came unhooked somehow ,just a fluke I'm hoping
what is the difference from the 50hp to the 60 hp Tohatsu both 866cc and is the 60hp as reliable and available in the 15" short shaft ? Thanks for your thoughts
