Toilet trained cat knows how to flush when finished 

I used an arduino and servo to flush after my cat leaves. a lower motion sensor is triggered while a higher one isn't. (A human leaving the room triggers both sensors)

yes you need a lot of patience I have been there and want to virtually shake your hand tor climing that mountain too. When I thought he got it and he did get it about 10 times and then i find a turd in the shower!!! what do you do? I just call him and we stay there looking at his turd, he's closer than me (it's his turd!) and I am sitting there, too for about 10 minutes contemplating the turd, then i just flush it, then bleach the shower, rinse it, only then we get out of the bathroom. Only did it once, there never was any need to do any turd staring again!! Q)
