I'm not sure. Gun takes inspiration directly from 1903s and 1911s. Limited capacity in a similar way with good damage like the 45 and stuck around just as long. @@joteres4583
@@Corrineduck , Russian 7,62×25 Tokarev is based on 7,63 Mauser cartridge. Some people say that it's almost identical, but, in fact, TT cannot shoot properly with original German ammo
The TT-33. Firing the 7.63x25 mm Tokarev round, which itself is a more powerful version of the 7.63x25mm Mauser round it was based upon, this little pistol offers surprising stopping power in a sleek, compact design. Which, on a side note, Tokarev took inspiration for said design from John Moses Browning's 1903 and 1911 pistols.

ТТ не советский. По маркировке виден год выпуска 1954. Однако последняя партия была выпущена в 1953 году. Щечки рукоятки и насечка - более ранние модели. Это какая-то сборная солянка из запчастей и маркировок.
@@Vendaist_cheaper construction, worse reliability (not saying it’s unreliable, just not as reliable as a 1911), more recoil, worse trigger pull and no manual safety. It really is like someone tried to make a 1911 As cheap as possible
I'd more say the 7.62×25 Tokarev cartridge was a very zippy round. It's basically a 9mm casing that's been extended to fit more powder and necked down to a .30 cal projectile. So while the recoil is much more snappy, the bullet delivers about the same amount of energy as a 9mm. The true drawbacks of the TT-33 seem to be the lack of a good safety (it only has a half-cock on the hammer which is prone to causing negligent discharges), as well as a relatively crude build quality that makes the trigger EXTREMELY heavy (10-20 pound pull weight on those things) and puts it at a shelf life of only 2000 rounds before the barrel wears out.
An Indian arms company MSD also makes these TT-33 pistols and markets them as 'Falcon'. It's of decent fit and finish. Please make a video on the MSD Falcon as well if you can get your hands on one of those.
Sir Chinese tt pistol magazine capacity is 8 rounds & I keeping 7 rounds in magazine all the year it's magazine spring will be lose or damaged ? Plz Rply
That C-clip on the right side of the gun scares me. Context: If that clip is loose and fell off, it will automatically disassemble the pistol the next shot you're shooting.
Potpuno novi primerak i znak fabrike i serijski broj odozgo na navlaci.A tu malu kočnicu pored okidača,trebalo bi da imaju samo ruski TT pištolji pravljeni za kalibar 9mm para.
My Tok's always worked. They were crude. Both fit & finish was awful no matter their origin. My favorite were the cheap Chinese ones in 9mm. Grear gun to leave in the glove compartment 🤠
I guess cause these guns were built around "Point & Shoot." So the man is probably just handling a slightly more authentic position for the audience. Edit: There's one shot by the end two-handed.
