My dad had cancer spreaded to his brain but didn't die from it, instead he died from COPD. So he survived the fking cancer and chemo therapy. Since he had a serious heroin addiction, , No badussy neither.. @@harrysyoutubing I feel his releases are great from a studio standpoint. Every artist has stated that there is clearly a difference between industry hip hop to street/raw/underground hip hop. His releases get played through media outlets like Spotify, Iheart radio, etc. Token has a raw grit and reality to his music that while we may all enjoy it, the media heads say we can't play this on MTV or bet but we can ensure he get x amount from streams. Sucks when you look it cause I'm pretty sure I haven't heard a Token track on the radio and there is absolutely no reason why not. So if your not feeling the same energy from his releases vs his freestyles....maybe that could explain or provide some insight

The talent that he has is amazing. The best part, anyone that respects and knows legends of rap hears the influences coming through all his lines. He recognizes the beats of the classics too and adapts every time. This guy deserves more songs with legends who still make music because I fully believe that he pays homage to them which is rare. I grew up on rap and hip hop and for as young as he is he is pretty amazing for the catalog that’s in his head. Eminem, Busta, Nas, and so many others this guy deserves the chance to be on a song with y’all. I would love to hear just for the sheer point of what the collaboration would bring. For proof, just look what him and tech did together.

The emotion in spitin is what can really grab an artist. Someone that has done it and know what it takes to convey your words like that, bring them to life to where the people not only listening but watching really feel those lyrics aka(emotions). This is the Token I became a fan of in the first place, with this style of ambitious technical display with the cadences, rhyme schemes and wordplay but still deep and passionate at the same time. He kinda toned down his rappity-rap style recently but this freestyle reminded me of the lyrical prodigy that I fell in love with in the first place with songs like Doozy, Mass Reform, No Sucka MCs, Waist Down (Extended Version), Flamingo, etc..., and even the previous two freestyles he did on Sway when he made one of the co-hosts cry in the first one and playfully dissed Sway's mic in the second one, way to go, Token, love the freestyle

I was never a Token fan but this was very impressive. Catching every beat, switching flows and cadences. Even when there was a hiccup in the beat around 8:15 he was still able to recover like a true professional. Respect!!

I just love the way Token raps. He can go for 3-4mins rapping about nonsense that sounds awesome then hit you with 3 lines that really hit hard and completely change the tone of the song/freestyles/whatever he's on.
